Here - Reflections of Beauty
Thanks again to our partners
Life can be an incredible journey. Part of that journey
includes the discovery of one's
identity. Society and culture can
play a great part in the way a
person understands and connects with their identity. With
a a great variety of pressures
and messages, sometimes
discovering a person's own
identity becomes a struggle, and embracing it may even seem impossible.
But you can find Joy in your Identity
Throughout life, a person will discover difficulty. Hardships and trials will be
encountered in a number of places of life's journey. Sometimes those hardships and difficulties will be brought on by the individual. Many times those difficulties and trials will come from
other sources. Regardless, those times may become overwhelming, like obstacles that cannot be
overcome.
But you can find Joy in those times of difficulty
In the journey of life, people can fail you. We can fail ourselves. Circumstances may not always
work out the way that you plan. Perspectives, relationships and goals can change. School and work
will come and go. Material things fade and go out of style.
But you can find Joy in Christ
We were filled with laughter, and we sang for joy. And the
other nations said, “What amazing things the LORD has done for
them.” Yes, the LORD has done amazing things for us!
What joy!
Psalm 126:2-3 (NLT)

Dear Ladies,
We are so excited that you are here with us. Our desire is that you would be encouraged, challenged and reminded of all you are. We pray that you would connect with the heart of God and begin discovering more of all of who you are. Our
theme this year is focusing on finding Joy in your identity, in difficulty, and in
Christ. Our theme verse, Psalm 126:2-3 is a reminder of how, why and the power
of doing this. Take time to rest, to ponder, to question. Kristin and Kerri will be
helping us discover ways to finding your inner joy. We have an incredible line up
of speakers and a phenomenal worship band. Take time to connect with them.
When you go home, challenge those who attended with you. Share with those
who missed out. Know that you are Loved simply because you ARE. If you have
any questions or comments, please do not hesitate in letting us know. We are
praying you have an incredible time.

Kristin Weber
Kristin Weber was raised in the great country of Texas and was
homeschooled, which is probably what laid her comedic foundation.
After she pretended to drown to get out of swim team practice,
Kristin's parents took her out of all sports and enrolled her in a
variety of music, writing, and theater classes. Kristin grew up singing, playing piano, composing songs, writing stories, and performing
in local musical theater productions. She also performed in commercials, voice overs, and the national tours of The Music Man and
Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. As a musician
Kristin has composed the soundtrack for several short festival films
and contributed a song to the Hallmark movie-turned-musical A
Christmas Snow. She is also a sought-after piano and voice teacher
and audition coach.
During college Kristin's love for writing took center stage, and she
graduated from Southern Methodist University at 20 with a degree in
journalism, packed up her car, and headed to the city that all homeschool parents hope their kids end up: Los Angeles.

While working in newspaper and radio she discovered a passion for
comedy and studied and performed improv and sketch comedy at
the Groundlings School and Acme Comedy Theater. She began
doing stand up and honed her act at clubs such as The Comedy
Store, Flapper's Comedy Club, The Ice House, and The Laugh Factory. Her clean, observant, occasionally alternative approach to comedy made her a favorite at clubs,
churches, colleges, and coffee shops. (Really any venue beginning with the letter C.) Kristin also produced shows in both Dallas and Los Angeles.
She wrote several years for Sisterhood Magazine (formerly Brio from Focus on the Family), a national
Christian publication for teen girls. Impacted by the struggles and stories shared with her from teen
readers and young girls she encountered after shows, Kristin began leading bible studies for middle
and high school age girls in her hometown. Her comedy segued into speaking for youth audiences and
her first book, “The Smart Girl's Guide to God, Guys and the Galaxy,” co-written with Susie Shellenberger, was released last year. Her second book, "The Smart Girl's Guide to Mean Girls, Manicures, and
God's Amazing Plan for Me" will be released in 2016.

Breakout Sessions
Sharon's Breakout: (Breakout Session 1)
Overcoming hurts, disappointment and pain. Girls, life is a
journey! There'll be beautiful highs, but we will also experience
some lows. Pain is real! Often, we may experience hurt from
people in our lives but the Lord gives us the grace to rise
above and be overcomers. Join me for a practical session on
how to walk as overcomes in the midst of pain- tools you can
use for yourself or friends God will bring along your journey in
the future who'll need it!
Vanessa's Breakout: (Breakout Session 1 and 3)
"How to deal with how you feel"
So many of us can get distracted and controlled by our emotions that we can lose sight of what God is doing in our lives.
Do you ever feel like you sometimes are not thinking straight
because of how you feel? Or that your emotions get in the way
of seeing the best in people and/or situations in your
life? Come learn how you can understand and manage your
emotions!
Melissa's Breakout: (Breakout Session 2 and 3)
Staying in God's presence during difficult times is not easy but
it will brings us fullness of joy when we do. Learn to recognize
what triggers you to shy away from God and be better
equipped for intimacy with the Father and live a joy-filled life ...
Mari's Breakout: (Breakout Session 1 and 2)
Spirit, Soul and Skin: Align Your True Identity
In this breakout session we will discuss the power of the mind
and tips for taking control over your thoughts. Words and
thoughts have the power to greatly affect the emotions. When
the soul and body are in line with God's truth about who you
are, there you will find true peace and joy.
Something from this session that I need to remember or do is ...
Kristy's Breakout: (Breakout Session 2 and 3)
Discerning God's Will
Have you ever struggled with knowing what God wants for
you? Have you ever wondered how to know and discern God's
voice in your life? Learning to follow God where he wants to
lead you can be so hard! Come hear and learn about what it
means to listen and obey God as you seek to live out his will
for your life. He desires to see you flourish wherever he leads
you.
Breakout Sessions
Sarah's Breakout: (Breakout Session 1 and 2)
Where do you get your identity? It's not about titles, it's not about grades, it's not
about accomplishments, it's about who we are in Christ. When we put our trust,
strength and identity in Gods hands we can become who God intended us to be.
The core of our character should reflect the glory of our creator. Today's society
pushes us to place our identity elsewhere or even to compare ourselves to others.
Come hear why placing your identity in Christ is vital to fulfilling his purpose for
your life.

"Being set free in the journey"
We go through many journeys in life, but we need to realize that these journeys
serve two purposes...1. to refine us and set us free 2. to set others free. Are you
the person who always says you are "fine" when asked? That was me, a smile
and a "fine", when just behind that were tears and pain. I walked the path alone,
until I was set free! Its time to walk in freedom!
Annalyssa's Breakout: (Breakout Session 1 and 3)
In this session I will be discussing financial options for college. There are so many
things that are good to know going into the college journey that will help you to
utilize all of the opportunities available to make education more affordable. I will
be discussing both scholarship options, grant options, loans and the way to apply
for these. As Christians we are called to be good stewards with what is entrusted
to us as well as making the most of the opportunities available to us. I'm excited to
discuss these topics with you!
Emily's Breakout: (Breakout Session 2 and 3)
Do you ever feel like you have to be perfect? Have you ever kept a secret because you didn’t know how to talk about it? Do you ever wonder if anybody could
really understand what you’re going through? Me too!
Join this workshop and hear how I discovered joy after the darkest years of my
life. Come discover what it means to practice vulnerability, cultivate joy, and walk
away with a deeper understanding of Christ’s awesome love for you!
