Proofing Options - Melissa Grimes Guy Photography
How do I choose my proofing options? I believe that you should see your images on paper before making final decisions about any albums you are designing. You have three options for this. In each case, log in to http://www.pictage.com and create a folder for your proof choices, and choose an appropriate folder name, i.e. “My Proofs.” Once you have selected your proofing option and put the images you want in the appropriate folder, email me with that information and I can send the order out, which I will then mail to you. Your three proofing options are: 300 4x6 loose prints on high quality photographic paper 300 selects in a 5x5 hardback, stitchbound album, printed one per page. 600 selects in a 8x11 hardback, stitchbound album with 6 images per page If you choose an album option, I will need to know the number of the image you would like on the cover. This image does not need to be one that you have included in the album itself, so do not put it in your selects folder unless you want it duplicated. The cover image must be able to crop to a square. Numbers are normally printed under the pictures. If you do not want numbers, please inform me. From left to right are: the 5x5 proof album, the 4x6 loose prints, and the 8x11 proof album.
