BUKAKA INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGIES SDN BHD (BIT) is an associate company of PT. BUKAKA TEKNIK
UTAMA (PTBTU) , Indonesia. Pioneer in the line of its genuine businesses; PT Bukaka Teknik Utama’s
main activities cover the engineering and manufacturing of infra-structure related products and
services.
For over 25 years, PTBTU has been represented in Malaysia by Dato’ Mubashhir Mohd Yusof @ Bashhir.
Now, with effect from August 2011 we at BIT will be supporting local, regional and international clients
with Innovative solutions.

PASSENGER BOARDING BRIDGE - PBB
Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA),
Sepang, Malaysia.
BTU passenger boarding bridges are designed to meet the standards set by the aviation industry
consultant and international airport authorities. Built with the highest quality materials and components,
passenger boarding bridges are made by skilled technicians in a factory specially designed to produce
passenger boarding bridges. BTU produce passenger boarding bridges with two types namely the steel
wall and glass wall type.
All products are designed with electro-mechanical control system in motion and equipped with current
technology that is optionally adapted to meet the comfort and security of passengers and aircraft. Based
on modern concepts, to ensure ease of operation and maintenance.
Until today, BTU has produced approximately 800 units passenger boarding bridge and as many as 483
units have been exported to various countries including Japan, Thailand, Hong Kong, China, India,
Malaysia, Chile, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Brunei and Singapore.

BTU can undertake to refurbish an existing aerobridge. This may involve simply painting the PBB or
upgrading the existing control system to incorporate a new PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and an
operator’s touch screen. Over recent years BTU has refurbished a number of different types and makes
of aerobridges.
Control systems on aerobridges vary from electro-hydraulic to electro-mechanical and in some cases a
combination of both. BTU is also capable of designing a new and reliable system to increase the
operational life of virtually any aerobridge.
A major refurbishment may mean removing the aerobridge from the airport and completing a full
external and internal upgrade. We also conduct non destructive testing of critical structural elements
and drive systems. Hydraulic power units and mechanical drive systems can be overhauled and or
upgraded.

AN ADVANCE MATERIAL TECHNOLOGY - COMPOSITE (FRP)
BIT and its strategic alliance partnerships with local and international manufacturer are capable of
designing, manufacturing and installing of Molded and Pultruded composite fiberglass reinforced plastic
(FRP) products. These include grating, stair treads, floor plates, cover trenching, handrails, ladders,
cable tray, struts, roof truss, enclosures and structural shapes. Some of the standard products are
available through a network of stocking distributors and representatives. BIT capabilities include design
and engineering assistance as well as custom manufacturing. BIT started in business as a supplier,
providing solution that no one else wanted to do or was incapable of doing.
BIT composite division began as early as 2011. having our relationship with MMFG (local composite
manufacturer) and other international manufacturer as strategic alliance partnership. Currently, BIT in
the midst of introducing few products to replace woods, aluminium and steel etc to composites. BIT
continues to grow and innovate, adding products and services to serve a diverse customer base.
FRP PRODUCTS
STRUCTURAL PROFILE
BIT offers a wide range of pultruded structural components including channels,
beams, angles, bars, rods, concrete embedment angles, toe plate and flat sheets.
BIT structural shapes are used in a broad array of applications, providing a unique
combination of corrosion resistance, high strength, dimensional stability and light
weight, along with thermal and electric non-conductivity.
GRATING & MANHOLE COVER
FRP grating and manhole cover have been engineered not only for high strength,
but also to overcome corrosion problems found in chemical and mining industries
where corrosive products are used. These are areas where metal grating rapidly
deteriorates or creates a constant maintenance problem.

BIT's manufacturing, fabrication, engineering and sales personnel are committed

ladders and cable tray in the world.
ENCLOSURES & SHELTERS
BIT's ability to develop and customize FRP enclosures and shelters, from small
modifications to completely new enclosures - provides its customers and partners

beauty in the most demanding interior and exterior entrance
applications. remarkably durable, they can withstand heavy traffic, abuse, or

OIL & GAS EQUIPMENT
The pumping unit is widely used in oil field all over the world because of its simplicity, reliability and low
cost. When the oil pressure of a reservoir is not large enough for the oil self-blowing, the oil in the
bottom of well shall be drawn by means of pumping unit, which changes the rotational motion into
vertical reciprocal motion, driving sucker rod string and plunger of oil well pump.
BTU pumping unit with history of manufacturing beam pumping unit over twenty years old had supplied
more than 3000 units of various specs since 1986, to meet the growing demand of Indonesia oil
companies. Our Production Capacity 26 unit a month with various types. At this moment BTU pumping
unit the biggest is pumping unit fabricator in Indonesia.
Design and manufacturing compliance with API serial pumping units manufactured in accordance with
API specs. Supported by 98 employees in production line and experiences for assembly our capacity to
manufacture pumping unit with various type is 26 units pumping a month.

STEEL TOWER
BTU is a pioneer leading company in manufacturing and construction of overhead transmission lines in
Indonesia.
First manufactured transmission lines were of the 70kV capacities 150kV in 1981 and finally 500kV
double circuit tower in 1984. In 1993, BTU completed a turnkey package for a 500kV double
helicopters for stringing technique in this project.

SHELTER
BTU is involved in the telecommunication sector and works together with many telecommunication
companies in all regions of Indonesia. BTU operates as an infrastructure development contractor on the
telecommunication network and also produces telecommunication products such as steel tower and
shelter. The Company decided to increase its involvement in telecommunication product so in 2004
BTU Shelter established specially for produce shelter.
Firstly, BTU Shelter only produces Cabin Knockdown (CKD) Shelter. But due the rapid growth of
telecommunication industry, supported with experienced-high quality of human resources, modern tools
and equipment works, BTU Shelter can produce high quality of all type shelter from customer order,
