Craft for Thanksgiving

Directions:
1.  Print two copies (8 strips total) for each student onto orange paper,
different orange scrapbook paper, or on white.
2.  Have students write what they’re thankful for, color/decorate, and then
cut out.
3.  Glue 4 strips together like a plus sign, and then add on the other strips,
like an asterisk. Bring together at the top and glue. (I used tape in my
example, and it worked very well.)
4.  Cut out and decorate leaf and stem shapes and attach to the top.

Here’s my example. I did mine half in orange
cardstock, and half white that I decorated with
marker. The leaf and stem are construction paper. It
was fun to make and will look great as a decoration
for Thanksgiving! Happy Holidays!
