Please ensure no competing graphic elements violate the clear space. Logo Misuses Avoid distorting, modifying or recreating the logo at all times. Representing Resolver with unapproved, non-standard artwork compromises the brand and creates inconsistency. Do NOT stretch the logo Do NOT swap logo colors Do NOT alter any logo shapes Do NOT reset the logo using non-approved fonts RESOLVER | BRAND IDENTITY GUIDELINES Do NOT distort the logo Do NOT recolor the logo Do NOT add elements to the logo Do NOT reverse the logo from busy backgrounds 4 colors The palette The Resolver color palette can be divided into two categories: “main” colors and “supporting” colors. Most documents should be created primarily using the main colors. Supporting colors may be used when an expanded palette or additional emphasis or variety is required — examples of which can include charts, graphs or infographics. Tinting, or using the colors at values less than 100% strength, is permissible, but should be used sparingly (see accompanying chart for guidelines). Color Strategy The Resolver brand benefits from a clean, uncluttered approach that employes significant use of white space and restrained use of color. The goal is use the palette sparingly but strategically to avoid clutter and unnecessary competition between elements, while leading the reader deliberately through the document. This particularly applies to the Magenta swatch, a very strong color that should be used sparingly. Mission Gothic Bold is the preferred font for adding emphasis within a sentence or paragraph. To emphasize names of works of art (books, movies, plays, etc) use Mission Gothic Light Italic. Underlining should be avoided unless adhering to scholarly conventions (footnotes, bibliographies, references, etc). Headlines Main headlines should be set using Bebas Neue Bold. This font includes capital letters only, so it is advised headlines be kept reasonably short. Large headlines that introduce a new page or section start can be set with a reversed (white) font within a colored box. This box should conform tightly around the top, bottom and sides of each line in a heading. The preferred color for the line is Resolver Blue (PMS 648C). For longer sub-headlines that are more closely related to body copy, use Mission Gothic Bold. Avoid use of italics in headlines whenever possible. Potential uses are pull quotes, calls to action, etc. The font is in a handwritten style so ensure that the character, tone and length of the text matches the personality of this typeface. System Fonts All efforts should be made to use the above listed fonts whenever possible.
