10:20 a.m. Planning for the Trek to Trial:
Use of Depositions for Trial
When preparing for a deposition, sometimes
we forget that what we ultimately ask could
either end up in the hands of a trial attorney looking to impeach a witness on the stand
or become the witness’s only trial testimony.
Actual deposition questions that translated well
or flopped at trial will aid in this discussion.

Diversity is a core value at DRI. Indeed, diversity is fundamental to the success of the
organization, and we seek out and embrace the innumerable benefits and contributions that the perspectives, backgrounds, cultures, and life experiences a diverse membership provides.
Inclusiveness is the chief means to increase the diversity of DRI’s membership and leadership positions. DRI’s members
