Collection Methods • Have operational support • Garbage collection for contaminated recycling • Truck that can fit within the event space • A well branded truck • Tonnage reports – Make sure truck is empty – Secure keys after event Signage • Recycling Guidelines • Directional Signage Dedicated Staff • Staff needs to be versatile and willing to work all event functions. Communication with Event Planners • What waste items will the event and vendors be producing? • What will the recycling role be at the event? • Will there be a dedicated food area? • Will there be separate vendor cardboard collection? • Will they be requiring a tonnage report?
