COVENTRY HEALTH CARE CULTURE The right health benefits experience comes from a local health plan that understands its local market. Our Coventry Health Care plans in Missouri and Illinois have each served in their local communities for nearly 30 years. Our health plan employees don’t simply work in the communities we serve—we live there, too. We receive care at the local facilities. We understand the health care needs and concerns of our members as if they were our own, because they often are. Our local health plans are also backed by one of the largest managed care firms in the nation, Coventry Health Care, Inc. (“Coventry”). The Coventry name denotes disciplined business principles and operational excellence. Coventry is part of the Standard & Poor’s 500 Index (“S&P 500”) and has been named to the FORTUNE 500 every year since 2002. Coventry Health Care members and employers can rely on their health plan’s unique structure of locally based community advocates supported by the strength and stability of a national company.
