Mr. NAFEER.A.MALIK is an epitome of professionalism and leadership. He is a
dynamic role-model for all around him. He is Special Prosecutor in High Court for National
Accountability Bureau (NAB). He is a life member of Supreme and High Court Bar Association.
He has made some valuable contribution in forums and seminars on constitutional issues
at Radio Pakistan and PTV. He was also 'Project Director,' of Asian Development Bank's
Innovation in Legal Education Program (Seed Grant Project). He is also recipient of
“Centenary Award for Professional Excellence”, awarded by High Court Bar Association,

Syed Afzal Haider got his early education (1936-1946) from Pak-Pattun. Afterwards
he did his Inter from FC College, Graduation from Government College and Law Graduation
from Punjab University Law College. He started his practice of law in Jan, 1958. He was
General Secretary of Lahore High Court Bar (1960-61). In 1964 he was enrolled as an
Advocate Supreme court. In (1983-84) was elected as President of Lahore High Court Bar.
Syed Afzal Haider was Vice President of Pakistan Rehayee Committee and Member of
Pakistan Action Committee. Two years back he was honored by the Supreme Court itself
as a Senior Advocate Supreme Court, Pakistan. From many years now he is the most
senior faculty member of Quaid-e-Azam Law College and teaching exclusively in QLC.

Mr. Aitzaz Ahsan is an offspring of a strong political scenario. He has a passion for the
profession of law, evident from the fact that despite of his Top Position in the CSS examination,
he preferred his career as an attorney-at-law, although he was offered service in CSP Cadre.

Chief Justice(Retd) Sheikh Riaz Ahmad is an erudite and a scholastic legend who
delivered landmark judgments on constitutional issues during his tenure. He has
contributed immensely towards the judicial setting of the country through his profound
judgments and analytical approach. He has rendered valuable services as Advocate
General of Pakistan.
In the year 1987, when QLC established itself, Chief Justice(Retd) Sheikh Riaz
Ahmad was amongst the Top members of the Board of Governors. Chief Justice(Retd)
Sheikh Riaz Ahmad has always been a great support and it is due to his kind
patronage that QLC has attained and maintained the zenith of success in achieving
miraculously excellent results in the University of the Punjab.
Chief Justice(Retd) Sheikh Riaz Ahmad as a teacher touches the depth
of student’s heart and inspires them with his ocean of knowledge, astuteness
and wisdom in every thought and deed. He has a lifelong desire to raise
the standard of everything and anything, wherever he is.

Chief Justice (R) Mian Mehboob as a Professor with eloquent speech,
mesmerizes people with his extra ordinary personality. He is an author, a talented
sportsman and an active participator in philanthropic activities. He possesses polite
and pleasing manners.
Chief Justice (R) Mian Mehboob set foot in legal career in 1957, he was elevated
as judge of Lahore High Court on June 3rd, 1978. He has been advocate High Court
and Supreme Court for 20 years in Civil Practice.
He headed Commissions and represented Pakistan in foreign countries on a
number of occasions. He has acted as Chief Justice of Lahore High Court and of
Federal Shariat Court. He also acted as Governor of Punjab for a number of times.
The judgments delivered by Chief Justice (R) Mian Mehboob Ahmed during his
long tenure as a member of Superior Judiciary have laid sound principles of
law in number of fields. Besides his rich and vast judicial background we know
him as a punctual, regular and compassionate teacher who stretches the
mental horizons of students with his lectures.

Justice (Retd) Sharif Hussain Bukhari adorns his knowledge with manners; his politeness
may be called benevolence in trifles. He is one of the most well- mannered faculty members.
He teaches with an exclusive style of his own. He has been teaching exclusively in QLC for
the past eight years.
He enlightens readers of prominent English Newspapers with his articles. He is a regular
Writer of Legal Issues, National and International Affairs.
Justice (Retd) Sharif Hussein Bukhari has also earned respect for his devotion and
work for Kashmir Cause. Presently he is writing a book on Kashmir issue. He was one of
those exclusively selected passengers of the first bus service, after 1947, which traveled
from Muzzaffarabad to Srinagar (Occupied Kashmir) on April 7, 2005 and was warmly
welcomed by the Indian Government. He is also a regular and valuable contributor
for College Magazine "QLCian".
He has delivered landmark judgments. It will not be an exaggeration to
say that when Justice Bukhari was member of Bar, the Bench was deprived of
an excellent Judge, and when he was elevated to the Bench the Bar was
deprived of a talented lawyer.

Four things belong to a judge, to hear courteously, to answer wisely, to consider
soberly and to decide impartially. Justice (R) Muhammad Nasim Chaudhary is a stalwart
of legal profession and yet so humble towards life. He is a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D)
in Procedural Law.
Justice (R) Muhammad Nasim Chaudhary has served in subordinate judiciary for
more than three decades from 1963 to 1994 and served as judge Lahore High Court
Lahore from 01-08-1994 to 30-04-2000 and stood retired accordingly. He is also enrolled
as Advocate Supreme Court of Pakistan. Presently he is Special Judge Banking Courts.
Justice (R) Muhammad Nasim Chaudhary has written a number of articles, published
in different law journals, as well as in National English and Urdu Newspapers. He
compiled, “The Manual of Forms and Instructions” (700 pages) published by the Lahore
High Court, Lahore in 1989 and was awarded the ‘Certificate of Merit’ by Lahore High
Court. He was awarded, ‘Chair of Honor” by District Bar Association, Khanewal in
September 1992.
Justice (R) Muhammad Nasim Chaudhary was conferred Honorary title of
Doctor of Philosophy in Procedural Law by London Institute for Applied Research
in the Convocation held in January 17th, 1994 in Islamia University Bahawalpur.
As a very senior and honored member of our faculty, he enlightens
our students with his vast practical knowledge and experience. Above all
he is a source of inspiration for them in professional and legal ethics.

Justice (R) Rao Iqbal served judiciary for 20 years. He was Additional District and
Sessions Judge, and was later elevated to Judge of Lahore High Court. After his
retirement he served as Judge Banking Court.

Justice (R) Zahid Hussain Bukhari is the Chairman legal Education
Committee Punjab Bar Council. The credit goes to Justice (R) Zahid Bukhari
for the implementation of an Entry Test of Punjab Bar Council for the fresh
law graduates who apply for Advocacy. Yet, another credit goes to QLC in
this regard, that the Model question papers for the Bar Council Entry Test
were prepared by the Research Centre of QLC.
Justice (R) Zahid Hussain Bukhari is reckoned as the top lawyer in
the town on criminal side. He is an expert at Cross-examination. He has
a unique but an enlightening style of teaching with his extensive experience
at the Bar. Mr. Bukhari disseminates not only theoretical aspects of his
subjects but trains his students with law moots in Clinical Legal Study
Centre of QLC.

owing to his extra-ordinary practical experience. Justice (R) Zahid
Hussain Bukhari influences his students through latest precedents,
laws, rules & regulations. He has a great ability to persuade the

A former senator and a former Attorney General of Pakistan, Sardar Latif Khosa
was appointed as the Governor of Punjab by the President of Pakistan after the murder

Bhutto shortly before her assassination in December 2007.

Professor Rana Zulqarnain is an institution in him. He has the ability to inspire
