In his personal time he has traveled widely in search of the world's birds and the wild places they inhabit. His travels have taken him throughout Central and South America, across the Canadian Arctic, to Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Russia and Mongolia. Bill has been watching and studying birds for nearly 40 years and in his travels has sighted more than 2,500 species (1/4 of the world's birds). Bill even has his own museum. Bill served the LSA for over 25 years and has supported carp removal along with the yearly game fish stocking Bill is an advocate for Lake Sinissippi improvements, fishing, hunting, and Lake Sinissippi being recognized for its beauty.
