Arte portátil contemporáneo en la piscina
Poco más de una año después de su primera exposición en un hotel cápsula de Tokio Encapsulados hace escala en Miami. Catorce artistas en esta ocasión: diez españoles, un inglés y tres
norteamericanos como anticipo de Encapsulados en NY, que se celebrará el próximo mes de Mayo.
Simultáneamente a todos los eventos que se convocan alrededor de la feria Art Basel Miami, Encapsulados ha querido estar presente desplegando el contenido de su maletín en la piscina
racionalista de un hotel tropical-déco. En el centro de un triángulo equilátero con vértices en Ocean Drive, Española Way y la maleta duchampiana
homenajeada en el Convention Center de Miami, Encapsulados instaló el trabajo de sus artistas portátiles entre cocoteros, tumbonas y ojos de buey.
Exposición, como decía José Oliver, breve y secreta, descubierta en un descuido, al dirigir uno sus pasos de la piscina a la barra del bar, o al ser convocado clandestinamente por la organización.
Microscópico modelo de exposición que, como el poema de Brossa, es movida por un alambre escondido en sus versos.

ENCAPSULATED in Miami
Portable Art in the Swimming Pool
Just a year after its first exhibit in a Capsule Hotel in Tokyo, Encapsulated has now landed in Miami. Fourteen artists on this occasion: 10 Spaniards, 1 British, and three North American artists as
advance notice of the upcoming exhibit of Encapsulated in NY, which will be celebrated this May.
Simultaneously with all the events which will take place surrounding the Basel Miami Art Fair, Encapsulated has also wished to attend by deploying the contents of its briefcase in the rationalists
swimming pool of a Tropical-Deco Hotel. In the centre of the equilateral triangle with vertxes in Ocean Drive, Española Way, and the homage of the Duchampian briefcase in the Miami Convention
Center, Encapsulated has installed the creations of its portable artists among coconut trees, deck chairs, and portholes.
An Exhibit, as José Oliver says, which is brief and secret, discovered in a careless moment, when directing your path from the swimming pool to the bar, or if you have been clandestinely summoned
by the organization.
A microscopic model of an exhibit, which, like a poem by Brossa, is moved by a wire hidden inside its verses.
