New Brunswick Free Public Library What is it? Exploring the Universe @ Your Library The New Brunswick Free Public Library was awarded a grant by NASA through the Initiative to Develop Education through Astronomy and Space Science (IDEAS) Grant Program. With this funding we have started the Exploring the Universe @ Your Library program. Exploring the Universe is a hands-on, inquiry based science program for children. Robert Belvin, the library’s director, and Drs. Ted Williams and Tad Pryor, professors in the Physics and Astronomy Department of Rutgers University, will lead our program to create educational, inquirybased activities that let students engage as scientists.
