Spring has sprung, the time has changed and it stays lighter later, so ...
Let’s Ride! We hope that you’ll be able to join us for a lot of our events and
while we know that everyone can’t attend everything, we just hope
that you’ll participate whenever you can!
Obviously, we can’t include everything here, so we encourage you to come to our monthly
meetings, the first Tuesday of each month. We’ve also added a lot to our

Newsletter Contest No Mo’
The “Name that Tune” monthly
newsletter contest is no mo’!
Instead of the “newsletter” contest,
we will now have a contest at each Diva
ride (which means two winners per month
- woohoo!). Whenever you attend a Diva
ride, you get a card for participating.
Mary will put all cards in a hat and will
draw one card during lunch on the Diva
ride. Whoever’s card is selected, they’ll
get a free lunch that ride (not including
adult beverages)! Congratulations to Liz
for winning her free lunch last ride!

Capital City Challenge
The Capital City Challenge will be held
May 7-8th. Training will be held May 1st.
This year it will be held in the parking
lot of Doak Cambell Stadium.
On Saturday, May 1st, please meet at the
stadium at 8am for training. After the
hour or so training, we will go on a Diva
ride to Stinky’s Fish Camp. Please let
Mary know if you’d like to volunteer.

*** Member Highlight ***
Liz Sheffield
Liz has been a member of the Chrome Divas since 2007. She has served as
Historian and currently serves as our Secretary. She is an integral part of
our chapter. Liz has always gone above and beyond with some of our
major events. She has put together absolutely awesome slideshows at our
Breast Cancer Poker Runs, she coordinated our
Relay for Life event last year, and has offered
to coordinate it again this year! Please be sure
to volunteer to help her out this year too!

When you stop behind a
car, give yourself at least 6
feet between your front tire
and the rear bumper of the
vehicle in front of you.
That way, you will have
room to maneuver around
the car in front of you if
need be. Plan ahead!
Please keep collecting the pop-top
can tabs for the Ronald McDonald
House! We’ve already collected
33 gallons this year!
