Lough Erne and Lough Neagh rivers in Northern Ireland have recently been at their highest levels since records began, flooding homes, businesses and transportation hubs. While water levels are beginning to decrease, there are still significant challenges to manage existing floods and to begin to plan for recovery. The present map shows the flood delineation in the area of Antrim (Northern Ireland). The thematic layer has been derived from post-event satellite image using a semi-automatic approach. Due to the bad weather condition, the accuracy of the flooded areas detection could be reduced respect to the standard. The estimated geometric accuracy is 2 m CE90 or better, from native positional accuracy of the background sattelite image. 6060000 6060000 r 54°40'0"N 54°40'0"N Map Information Event Activation Relevant date records 11/01/2016 11/01/2016 Situation as of Map production 12/01/2016 13/01/2016 Data Sources lin Crumlin Base vector layers: OpenStreetMap © OpenStreetMap contributors, refined by the producer.
