This program is generously supported by the Rotary Club of Vancouver
Sunrise for over eight years. Members of this club, and members of their
counterpart clubs, support Strathcona Basketball and Youth Leadership
Programs as the programs provide positive life experiences to be good citizens, and to respect and care for others. The Strathcona programs foster
the same core values as Rotary: service, fellowship, diversity, integrity and
leadership. All to building future leaders in our city.
The top 5 reasons boys and girls play Strathcona Basketball are:
1) Fun
2) Learning New Skills
3) Staying Fit
4) the Coaches/Great Role-Models
5) Making New Friends
Winning comes when Boys and Girls register for Strathcona Basketball.
Thank you to all the Players, Parents, Coaches, Volunteers, and generous
funders for your support in Strathcona Basketball!
Ron Suzuki, Recreation Programmer &
The Strathcona Basketball Hoop-a-thon Committee
Since Strathcona Basketballl’s inception over 40 years ago, the program
continues to be a strong and successful sport, youth leadership and
development program. The return of generations of players and coaches
to support the program is testament to the success of instilling leadership, service and community for present and future.
