Taskplanner
For each field the farmer/employee/advisor can:
• See all planed tasks.
• See all tasks that have been carried out.
• Make new registration of planed or carried
out tasks.
Used for planning, and an quick overview of
previous and pending tasks.
FarmTracking - Fieldlog
One single task
Details on a single task
• When was it completed?
• By who?
• What quantity of seed?
• Which pesticides?
Used for lookup and registration of the
details on a single action.

Hotspots
The user can save hotspots, that document a
certain problem or other information with the
GIS coordiante or area/line.
Saved Hotspots are shown in the Mark Online
field map. The advisor can then see the
problem and make recomendations and send
these directly to FarmTracking
As the user gets closer the tjecking frequency
will increase.
FarmTracking will then notify the user when
the hotspot is within the designated range.

From surveys, we know that the
following features are most important:
• Input to production optimization
• Quick Lookup
• No longer a note in the pocket
• Data flows easily from the sensors
to the Decision Support System
• Look forward to select hardware
vendor without a complicated setup

Advisors and consultens at SEGES
421 people are employed to advise
farmers or to optimize the advice at
SEGES within crop production.
From surveys, we know that the
following findings are the most
important outcome from FarmTracking:
• insight into how far the individual
farmer is in doing the agreed tasks
• Do the farmer follow the agreed
tasks?
• More accurate data because the
registration is done close to the
incident
•
Fast and effective dissemination of
agricultural knowledge
