If you are on location, it use the GPS to select the right field. You can also get a list with fieldnumbers FarmTracking - Fieldlog Taskplanner For each field the farmer/employee/advisor can: • See all planed tasks. • See all tasks that have been carried out. • Make new registration of planed or carried out tasks. Used for planning, and an quick overview of previous and pending tasks. FarmTracking - Fieldlog One single task Details on a single task • When was it completed? • By who? • What quantity of seed? • Which pesticides? Used for lookup and registration of the details on a single action. FarmTracking - Fieldlog Hotspots The user can save hotspots, that document a certain problem or other information with the GIS coordiante or area/line. Saved Hotspots are shown in the Mark Online field map. The advisor can then see the problem and make recomendations and send these directly to FarmTracking As the user gets closer the tjecking frequency will increase. FarmTracking will then notify the user when the hotspot is within the designated range. FarmTracking - Irrigation module FarmTracking - Irrigation module Water balance Weather data is automatically transferred from the National Meteorological Institute. Local rainfall data can be collected from the AgroIT platform. For now only Pessl station are available. Used to keep an eye on the water balance, and begin watering at the time it is in shortage. From surveys, we know that the following features are most important: • Input to production optimization • Quick Lookup • No longer a note in the pocket • Data flows easily from the sensors to the Decision Support System • Look forward to select hardware vendor without a complicated setup Results Advisors and consultens at SEGES 421 people are employed to advise farmers or to optimize the advice at SEGES within crop production. From surveys, we know that the following findings are the most important outcome from FarmTracking: • insight into how far the individual farmer is in doing the agreed tasks • Do the farmer follow the agreed tasks? • More accurate data because the registration is done close to the incident • Fast and effective dissemination of agricultural knowledge Conclusions FieldOnline WebService ?
