HOW DOES OUR GARDEN GROW?
Help yourself to the delicious vegetables growing in our
Welcome Garden.
The Pumpkins are growing!!!!
During VBS our students get to enjoy wonderful healthy snacks. Below is the list of what food
crafts the kids will be doing and items that we need. If you would like to help perhaps you can donate
one or two items on our snack list. The snacks are organized by day, so that we will not be storing
perishable items. Dry items can be donated early and that would help us as well. Please contact the
church office if you can make a donation and let us know what you will be donating so we do not have
duplicates of one particular item. Gift cards or monetary donations will also be gladly accepted.
Thank you so very much.

SYNOD-WIDE DAY OF SERVICE
SEPTEMBER 11, 2016
In honor of September 11th, we have decided to do
something that honors First Responders.
Specifically, we will be putting together gift bags to give to all
of the officers of the Lynbrook Police Department as a token
of our thanks and gratitude for protecting us. More details to
follow in the coming weeks.
Also, the t-shirts have arrived! If you
ordered shirts you can pick them up on
Sunday mornings in the narthex following
the 9:30 service.
