Ob-Gyn. Surgery is daily routine for all of us. Still, often, it poses a lot of challenges in terms of skill, material, technological advances and complications. Seldom are these addressed adequately, during our regular conferences & workshops. We intend to take it head on. In this “First of its kind” event, we promise to bring a variety of subjects, entirely related to common and not so common surgeries done in every day practice. An exhaustively designed program, it will appeal to the clinicians, academicians and students; it has something for all. Leafing through a bygone era; a fitting tribute to our older masters who practiced this art, some of the surgeries they designed and performed during their time, will be revisited. A separate section, demonstrating their equipment and technique will be under the scanner. On 14th Oct.2011, a dedicated workshop on Obstetric Surgery will be held at the Sassoon General Hospitals and simultaneously, a workshop on Gynecological Surgery will be held at the Ruby Hall Clinic. The entire gamut of safe surgical techniques will be demonstrated by specially invited experts. Oct. 15th & 16th will be the days for the Scientific Program, at the classy Le Meridian. Noted speakers have been invited from across the country, to discuss topics of interest to everyone. After the days hard work, we intend to let our hair down on Saturday evening, by hosting a Banquet for all the delegates and invitees, promising more fun.
