The festival has hosted many
famous filmmakers as
guests, including Wes

William Friedkin, Sam
Raimi, Clive Barker, Eli
Roth, James Wan, Zack
Snyder, Stan Winston, Sean
Cunningham, and John
Landis.
Festival History
Screamfest was formed in 2001
by producer Rachel Belofsky
to give filmmakers and writers
in the horror genre a venue
to introduce their work to the
industry. “We are very proud of
the success of past filmmakers.
Our filmmakers have gone on to
direct studio films and get
distribution deals” says Belofsky.

Michael Colleary, Writer/Producer Michael wrote the screenplays for such major feature films as
FACE/OFF, FIREHOUSE DOG, TOMB RAIDER, COLLATERAL DAMAGE and the video game film
adaptation TEKKEN, among others! His decades of writing and producing experience span genres and
formats, including TV movies and major studio films.
Lucy Mukerjee, SVP Development at After Dark Films Lucy has over a decade of experience as a
Producer and Development Executive. She has produced 18 theatrically released feature films, mostly for
Lionsgate and Warner Bros, as well as being a key executive in the acquisition of over 40 horror movies
for After Dark & Lionsgate's bestselling brand "Horrorfest: 8 Films To Die For". Lucy is a voting member
of the Producers Guild of America and BAFTA, and sits on several film festival committees with the goal
of promoting diversity within the industry.
