I've been wearing eyeglasses for at least 20 years now. I prefer glasses to
contact lenses because for the life of me I can't seem to get contacts on
without having to squint and stretch the delicate skin around my eyes a
lot. Those are no-no's for a vain person like myself. Subjecting the eye
area to unnecessary pressure makes it prone to premature lines and
wrinkles... and we can't have that now can we?

Anyhow, this is my continuing chronicle of life with my recently acquired
Transitions® Signature™ Lenses. I can't get over how responsive these
lenses are to UV light. I stepped out of the house with my glasses in hand
and as soon as I was in open air, I could see the clear lenses change color.
I wanted to take a photo of them in their clearest state but I wasn't fast
enough -- at this rate they've already started to darken.
Whoa, by the next minute, the Transitions® Signature™ Lenses were this
dark already -- and it was a cloudy day! Actually, most days have been
quite cloudy. I haven't really been exposed to very bright sunlight save for
one time I was in my friend's yard. I saw these lenses turn almost black for
the first time then. That's the thing about Transitions® Signature™ Lenses,
they always give you the right level of tint to block 100% of UVA and UVB
rays. When I went back into the house, the lenses cleared up just as
quickly.
You don't have to worry about looking out of place indoors with dark
glasses because the technology behind these lenses ensures that they only
darken upon exposure to UV light. They remain crystal clear in the face of
light from your computer, lampshade, TV, etc. You see things the way
they're meant to be seen with Transitions® Signature™ Lenses.
The brighter the glare, the darker the lenses. I really love how
Transitions® Signature™ Lenses automatically adjust to give you the best
possible tint in different lighting conditions.

I can't wait to chance upon a really bright and sunny day so I can try these
Transitions® Signature™ Lenses in their darkest state... or maybe even go
somewhere picturesque to be able to take in the sights without having to
compromise my vision.
Stay tuned for more updates! :D
