Dr. Pentecost will deliver a presentation on Design for the Aging and People with Disabilities. Dr. Pentecost has a longstanding interest in and commitment to design for the aging and people with disabilities. This presentation is not a design cookbook or a discussion of a way of thinking, but an empowerment opportunity providing participants with resources to assess the home for aging and people with disabilities. William E. Fuller, Ph.D., Senior Community Housing Officer, VHDA, Dr. Fuller will discuss the latest information on the VHDA’s Universal Design checklist and how it integrates with the QAP.
