Greetings:
The Dansville Community Center is undergoing our annual “KEEP THE LIGHTS ON”
fundraiser to help us cover the cost of utilities to operate the center for an entire year.
We are asking business and individuals to sponsor either $500 or $250. Our average
utility bill is $500 per month. Our goal is to have enough sponsors to cover all twelve
months for the 2016 operating year.
You can help us by providing much needed sponsorship funds. Make checks payable
to Dansville Community Center, you can also pay via paypal (visa/MC) on our website.
Dansvillecommunitycenter.org (look for the support us tab). All donations are tax
deductible; a copy of our donation receipt is attached for your use, simply fill in the
amount you donate. All of our 2016 sponsors will have their business or name listed on
our website, Facebook, and Twitter throughout the year. Your name will also be placed
on our “Friends of the Community Center Board” prominently displayed at the
Community Center.

What we do;
The Center offers the community a gathering place for various activities.
• We provide rentals for birthdays, graduations, and company parties!
• We provide Community Service organization space (for FREE)!
• We provide after school programs!, as well as Summer Recreation
• We run Cub Scouts & Boy Scouts
• We provide space for DHS boys & girls soccer, basketball, football, cross country
• We provide space for Good Guides Mentoring
• We provide after school programs!
• We partner with AmeriCorp to provide jobs and training
• We provide a free computer lab with Wifi access, including word processing,
internet, and printing!
• We provide drop in hours for social, educational and recreation purposes, including
table games, pool, darts, ping pong, air hockey, video gaming units, movie station and
board games!
• We run the Dansville Men's basketball league!
• We host the FC Dansville Soccer Club!
• We provide special events eg. Halloween parties, Christmas parties, Block parties,
Dances etc. for the children of the community!
• We offer - parenting classes, support groups, supervised visitations, and more.
