Our factory started producing heavy steel for industrial use. In 1936, the Cravetto steel plant gave birth to the company, Guinzio Rossi, which became the largest producer of aluminum household items all across Italy. Guinzio Rossi was a pioneer in both household product design and architecture. In the 1940s, Guinzio Rossi produced a key product greatly enhancing the daily life of the local people – the aluminum milk bottle, which locals used to collect fresh milk. The aluminum milk bottle would go on to become part of history and heritage for Italians. Guinzio Rossi advanced the futuristic movement with the help of Carlo Molino, a famous Italian designer. Together they designed and built futuristic household items and furniture. Through collaboration with Guinzio Rossi, Lavazza, and Carlo Molino, the first iconic aluminum coffee pot, La Kicca, was invented. This coffee pot was monumental in popularizing coffee-making amongst both the wealthy and working classes. Stainless steel is integrated into the factory. This is used to produce pots and pans with a three layered base. . These products are widely accepted in Italy and go on to be sold in France, Belgium and then the rest of Europe.
