With a grinning little driver, blond hair and a tan, and his copilots, the Coral Reefer Band, More rapid than eagles the dolphins they came, he whistled and shouted and called them by name, “Now Frankie, Now Lola, Now Amy Lee, On Mac! On Fingers! On Peter and Utley! To the shore and the Sand! To where water meets land! Now swim away, swim away, me and my band! So up to the white sand, the dolphins they flew, with a load of Boat Drinks, and Bubba Claus too! And then, in a twinkling, gone in a Flash, back to the Ocean, with One mighty Splash! I drew down my cool-rays, and rubbed my eyes, I could not believe it, it was such a surprise! His clothes were the color of all the rainbows, and with his bag cd’s, he struck quite a pose! His Ray-Ban’s, how they twinkled-dimples how merry! His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry (too little SPF)! The stump of a stogie, held tight in his teeth, with the fragrant smoke circling his head like wreath, He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work, and all the blenders, then turned with a jerk, then stiffed all the hammocks with bottles of Rum, and laying his hands upon his tum, I heard him exclaim, as he surfed out of sight “Jolly Christmas to all mon, and to all a good night!! Thank You! ~Parrot Phriends~ Biscuit Miller & the Mix BMA Award Winner Biscuit Miller Born on the south side of Chicago and raised by his Grandmother where he was given his childhood nickname, Biscuit, after always being in the kitchen and underfoot while she was trying to cook. Growing up at Grandma's house also gave Biscuit his love and appreciation for music, as gospel and soul were played in the home on a regular basis. While visiting a friend, Biscuit spotted a four string electric bass sitting in a corner collecting dust and decided to check it out. The bass belonged to his friend’s brother, who taught him a couple of songs and Biscuit took to it like a fish in water. "It was easy to play and I fell in love with it immediately". So at the tender age of eleven years old, Biscuit Miller was born into the "Blues". He played some incredible gigs such as President Clinton's inauguration, Biscuit's fun and funky style of bass playing and his great rapport have made him a hit with his many fans and friends around the world. Biscuit Miller and The Mix are once again on the road with his new CD "BLUES WITH A SMILE" “The Mix” are Biscuit’s cousin Ivan Daddy I Wallace on guitar, Bobby Wilson, also on guitar, Deryl Coutts on keyboards and Dr Love on drums… What's better than a bowlful of Soulful, Funky Blues stew? A pipin' hot Biscuit, of course! Dec 1 Downtown Jaycee Christmas Parade 7pm 1pm Phloat will be @ Harrison Ave Marina staging area for decorating with Garland.
