As they make their way back to Danville for the third time, Five By Design will join the Danville Symphony Orchestra for an exciting evening of Music of the Mad Men Era. Richard Strauss’s only concert work for piano and orchestra, “Berleske,” was deemed unplayable in 1890, but many artists have conquered it since, including our pianist, Jonathan Bass.
