The SOLO, the commuter vehicle for the masses
The Company’s goal
is to produce
affordable and
sustainable transport
by creating a
compelling mass
market product, the
SOLO, shifting the
urban commute to
becoming more
efficient, green, and
cost-effective.
The next generation of advanced electric vehicles
INTRODUCTION
Electra Meccanica is a Canadian-based designer and
manufacturer of the SOLO, an electric single passenger
vehicle, developed to revolutionize the way people commute.
The Company not only capitalizes on the growing demand for
non-polluting clean vehicles but also fills a void in the
marketplace not currently addressed by other electric car
companies.
Electra Meccanica is unleashing the proven potential of
electric vehicles (EVs) to a mass consumer, at a price point
that is affordable to every day commuters.
DEMYSTIFYING ELECTRIC VEHICLES
Tesla has already changed the way we think about the future of
energy and transportation
• No longer a question of why an EV – now a question
of how to deliver cheaper EVs to the masses.
• Tesla has already stated that “a lower cost vehicle
than the Model 3 is unlikely”, leaving the door open
for new companies like Electra Meccanica to fill the
void.
• Sustainability no longer a buzzword – it matters to
people, organizations, corporations and
governments.
Electra Meccanica is poised
to fill the void for single
passenger vehicles
• And the faster we achieve sustainability, the better is
it for us all.
MASSIVE GROWTH OF EVs
• 75% year-over-year growth
• Quebec and Ontario showed
accelerated sales, while BC
had the most notable jump
• BC is the EV leader on a percapita basis
• Quebec is the national leader
in total vehicles sold -nearly
10,000
• Quebec plans to make it
mandatory to install 240-volt
circuits in all newly built homes
• 1 out of 3 EVs sold in the US
• Last year EV sales grew by
about 60% worldwide

BATTERIES
What we can expect during the early adopter period
High cost of batteries, shorter drives
• Battery lifespan and battery
tech is rapidly growing
• Battery prices are already
falling and are expected to
drive the demand for EVs
• Through 2030, battery packs
will require less than 1% of
the known reserves of
lithium, nickel, manganese,
and copper and 4% of the
world’s cobalt
• After 2030, new battery
chemistries will probably
shift to other source
materials, making packs
lighter, smaller, and cheaper

BOLD AMBITION FOR EVs
Strategies, Policies, Pledges and Incentives
EV technologies are central part of policies and strategies around
lowering transportation sector emissions.

in Paris to promote cleaner motoring and slash transport emissions, including an
agreement to make all passenger vehicle sales zero emission vehicles by 2050.
Members include:
British Columbia
California
Connecticut
Germany
Maryland
