Sibylle Bauer, Gabrielle Castañeda-Pruitt, Maria Rosa Jaral, Frank Lopez, Cristina Nava, Maria Olivas
and Valerie Ontiveros capture the striking landmark from various perspectives, reflecting how the

The images in this exhibit reflect how locals see the
Trinity River through their eyes and the lenses of their
cameras. As inspiration, the photographers captured
bees in flight, white steel and sun-warmed architecture,
cool water, inquisitive wildlife, and a myriad of other
stunning images to create an evocative collection of
over 60 photographs.
A professional panel of judges reviewed 700 images
submitted by professional, amateur and youth
photographers to select the winners.
