dark undertones.

Independent or high-end
labels.
2
Up-and-coming models
with badass attitude and
an unconventional look.
5
Brave and bold styling.
6
Imaginative concepts
that do not mimic current
editorials.
3
Feminine and masculine
juxtaposition.

We are obsessed with
unique themes and
memorable content.
1
Previously published work.

That said, please make
sure your submission
does not feature any
of the following:
3
Bikini/beachwear shoots.
4
Commercial and catalogue
posing.
5

models.
6

PHOTOGRAPHY
The editorial story
all starts and ends
with the photographer,
therefore it’s vital
that you abide by
these rules before
submitting to TEETH.
1
Location should be unique
and planned and not look
like an afterthought.
2
Images must be strong
and able to stand out on
their own.
3
Model must show variety,
movement and attitude.
4
Submissions must display
a story and artistic vision.
This does not mean placing
a model somewhere random
and calling it an ‘editorial’.
5
Don’t be afraid to play with
angles, clothing, objects and
atmosphere!

KEEP IN MIND
1
Due to the volume of submissions we receive, we cannot make any promises
or guarantee that your story will be published with us. We carefully
consider each submission, its cohesiveness with the rest of our content
and whether or not it suits the artistic vision of the magazine.
2
We do ask that you do not publish the photos anywhere before the photos
go live on the site or the launch of the print issue. This includes your
website, social media, your mom’s email newsletter, etc.
3
TEETH reserves the right to pull an editorial at any time whether it be
online or in print.
4
All submissions at this time are unpaid. Any income received from the
website or printed issue goes straight back into the printing and
promotion of the magazine.
