Igniting our passion for politics ~ By Andy Yawson ~ S AT U R D AY 3 0 T H AU G U S T 2 0 1 4 A fter a brief overview of what it is an effect it is having now. We are now more aware of what is going on in the World. Welcome! Our relationship with God isn’t supposed to be private. What is about is that makes that guy/girl are they a Christian? P We need to ask ourselves this question. Three things we need to know if we are going to ignite for God. 1. Your primary purpose is God 1 Peter 2:9 If we do not live to our primary purpose we will live a life that isn’t right. Our primary purpose is to reflect the glory of God, yes we are going to excel but we should never forgot that truth. 2. Know your source of strength Your source of strength will always lead to your blessings. As Christians who are supposed to ignite we need to connect to our source of strength. We need to have a regular prayer life so we can reflect the power and light of God. We need to stop relying on other people and to rely on ourselves and pray for ourselves. 3. Choose your diet Fill ourselves with what God himself has to say, the word especially. Spend time with God, we can’t reflect him without knowing this for yourself. It’s important to feed ourselves with the word. We can only produce what is inside us. The content will determine how we are going to function. The time has come for us to step up, feel different, think different, and speak different. Love different and ignite your passion for God. At the end of the day what goes into us will determine the results. raise the Lord! I’m sure that you will agree with me that this years IGOC has been the best yet. Sometimes I wonder how God puts all this together. I give Jesus all the glory. We should not take for granted what God is doing in our lives. He is a faithful God and we should thank Him for all that He has done, for what He is doing and the blessings on the way. Our speakers have pushed the boundaries and God gave them the Word of knowledge, wisdom and the ability to teach all of us how to speak the Word to our future. When you receive messages like these you need to realise that God is setting us up for something bigger and I trust God that our lives will be transformed. As we leave this conference; go out and manifest His Power. Matthew Ashimolowo WWMAG2014.indd 32 To all stewards we say THANK YOU! 26/08/201 The Power Of His Presence ~ Pastor Yemisi Ashimolowo ~ W hen Pastor Yemisi took to the pulpit she was greeted by the congregation with rapturous applause and cheering. Our beloved mother of the house opened her message by looking at the meaning of the word Power. She made it clear that we must have the presence of God in our lives and used the awesome message we have heard this week as an example; saying that they could not have been preached without the presence of God. We need His presence in our lives before we can receive what God has for us. Pastor Yemisi said: “Many people are chasing after signs and wonders. However, God’s desire is that signs and wonders chase after us.” She challenged pastors and ministers to help their own congregations to grow and know God and His presence for themselves. She discouraged congregation members from becoming overly dependent on their leaders and gave examples of how even she, as a pastor’s daughter, had to know God for herself. With the presence of God, work can be accomplished with ease. There is nothing to prove with God as our source. The message was brought to a close by Pastor Yemisi leading us in fervent prayer to seek the presence of God. The Power In The Blood Of Jesus ~ Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo ~ P astor Matthew started by leading us in some of the songs from the blood project CD. As we sang the songs, there was a confirmation and knowing in our spirit that there is power in the blood of Jesus. After singing the songs, we were all ready to receive the word. hit and slapped nonstop. Pastor decreed that every form of shame will be turned around for a blessing. Pastor went on further to say that because Jesus shed blood from His head; no curse will rest on us in Jesus name. He said when Jesus shed His blood, it was to break the power of curse and that we can walk in the anointing of the head and not the tail. He cited an example of when the tails of animals are cut off, they Kings Kids have two houses: Ruth and Rhoda; holding up to 180 children aged 3 – 12years old. There are currently 60 teachers and a large squad of volunteers making it all happen, teaching our children the way of the Lord. The classes are packed featuring Bible teaching, praise and worship, Arts and crafts and much more. All this is provided for children One teacher said “helping the children walk away with a clear and vivid image of God trains them up in the way they should go.” 2 Permanent Change RIGHT HAND Jesus was nailed on the right hand. Pastor Matthew reminded us that God has put a mark of distinction on those that know Him. Pastor asked us to lift our hands up and he prophesied upon them. He prayed that everything we touch will carry a mark of excellence. We were told to go forth and lay hands on issues in our life that don’t seem to be working and expect a change. Pastor Matthew explained that Jesus shed His blood in seven different places. Here are some of them; HIS HEAD A woven crown of thorns was placed on Jesus head. Pastor explained that when blessings and curses react, they rest on the head. He said that there are many people that go around with a cursed head. Pastor Matthew prayed that every curse be cancelled in Jesus name. Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo can still do without the tail but they cannot do without the head if it is cut off. As human beings, you can have another man’s part of their body like kidney or heart but you cannot have another man’s head. Pastor Matthew prayed that God will mark us out for distinction. FACE Jesus shed blood from His face when He was slapped and hairs pulled from His face. He was ~ Prophetess Juanita Bynum ~ HIS SIDE A spear was used to pierce Jesus side; blood and water came out. Pastor explained that when Jesus blood fell, everything changed and the atonement was done. He went further to tell us to always plead the blood of Jesus because His blood speaks. Pastor Matthew concluded by saying that despite all evil happenings in the world, the blood of Jesus covers us all. IN HIS POWER The tongue in your mouth controls your life...You are where you are because you spoke something in your past which has brought you to the present… What you say goes into the future and causes change Pastor Steve Munsey GROWING UP THE KINGS WAY Expectancy is the breeding ground for the expression of the power of God We receive God’s ability, efficiency and might to do what we naturally cannot do. Dr Nasir Saddiki Champions Xtra Don’t miss interviews with all the speakers at IGOC 2014 on Champion Xtra on KICCTV each day at 2pm & 8pm on Sky Channel 591 P rophetess Juanita Bynum started by thanking her great Mentor Pastor Ashimolowo and his wife Pastor Yemisi. She told the congregation that she was truly humbled and honoured to be here and that she felt an intense presence of the Lord in the church and in the country from the time she touched down. She went on to say before we can see the manifestation of the Power of God for what he has and has power to accomplish, we needed to worship him through a song. Prophetess Bynum then led the congregation into worship. The vibrancy of her voice shook the building and the sweet presence of the Lord could be felt flowing through the congregation. As people felt the sweet presence of the Lord, She revealed that she had seen a vision of a host of angels singing in tongues saying ‘My God is here right now and he has said he can do anything. The word of the day was from Mark 4:22. Prophetess told the congregation that when she saw the title of IGOC 2014, she was going to bring not just a bible text but divine experience. She went on to tell the congregation that since her last encounter with KICC in December, in January she had had an encounter with the real Jesus. An encounter, she described as a divine obedience and which had brought her to a position of standing in the presence of him today. She told us that nothing is hidden as all scriptures will be revealed to man. For this let man listen, perceive and comprehend. God is preparing us from a temporary situation to a permanent change. Prophetess Bynum then went into defining the word ‘Revelation’. She told the congregation that revelation meant surprising and previously unknown fact and made known in a dramatic way. This revelation comes to people who say I don’t know which way to go, I have prayed but doesn’t seem like I have an answer. Change hasn’t come and life is still chaotic. It is that chaos that causes God to speak. She reminded us that each time an enemy comes in a dramatic way, it means revelation is about to hit your life and God is about to reveal himself. However Revelation comes out of divine intervention. Divine obedience is not about doing something when I feel it. It’s about things that people will call crazy and things that you cannot explain it to anybody. All my life, I have church experience. We sing songs about everything is going to be alright, we are a feeling generation Prophetess Bynum said. She told the congregation that God was about to let people walk in his will and we will walk in something we have never seen before and it’s a realm where God becomes your confirmation. Prophetess shared an encounter she had with God. God commanded her to stop sleeping in hotels each time we attended a church meeting. She demonstrated divine obedience by doing exactly what God had commanded her to do and she had an encounter with God. As the pictures of the vision were beamed in Church, an anointing was felt amongst the congregants. She told us that God had given her a word for London. God had told her that a manifestation of God will come upon his people and that he will pin the enemy to the wall with the blood of Jesus and no demonic interaction would happen to his people. 3
