TRANSFER FROM LISBON AIRPORT TO THE CITY CENTRE Lisbon’s Portela airport is just under 10 km from the city centre. Metro: The recently inaugurated Airport Metro Line will take you from the airport directly to the city centre/down twon (“Baixa Chiado”) for less than 3€. Just switch from the airport line (red) to the green line at the stop “Alameda”. From there it is only six stops to “Baixa Chiado”. Check out Lisbon’s Metro Map here! “Aerobus”: It costs under €4, leaves every 20 minutes from the Airport’s arrivals entrance and stops at approximately 10 metro stops, as well as key destinations on its way to the city centre.
