Berlin Blues Explosion has changed a lot over the years and in our fifth edition
we’ve really come into our own. Early closing times, late starts, more
performances, contests and all held within Berlin’s seductive bosom.
The true pleasure in 2015 is the live music, now the centre of our event. The widest
range of styles, rhythms and sounds as we can cram into your earballs. Highlighting
a range of local musicans to give you the unique vibe only Berlin can deliver.
One statement has always held true at BBE, the Blues is enough. The Blues can be
down and dirty, fast and slow, rough and refined and that makes us love it all the
more. We are here to deliver a real Blues experience.
How can we all make sure this event reaches its potential? Be cooperative, helpful
and respectful as we navigate this logistical commando course of awesome.
Don’t do anything too stupid and we won’t have any problems.
In any case, we’re not going to tell you how to do your thing. It has been said,
however, that BBE is best enjoyed when you drink-up, throw-down and
mess-around. So sling a snazzy lookin’ dance partner around your arm, enjoy the
unbeatable atmosphere and let Berlin Blues Explosion wash over you.

African Clubbing Styles. African dance differs from one region and setting to
the other this class will present African clubbing styles that one can find in West
African clubs. So basically your going to own the dance floor anywhere in the
world after taking this class.

exper ts of dips and tricks will be par ting some of their jaw dropping

workshop. You’ll need to bring some of your own gear to this class
as material will range from dance photo history to capturing atmosphere, button fiddling and shooting an event photo-booth.

BBE you’d like to copy (steal) for your own event? Star ting an event
and want to do it right first time? Have a chat with an organiser
about how to build something unique, functional, attainable and
enjoyable. There may not be a secret formula for running events but
there are many lessons we can help you from learning the hard way.

In this class you’ll learn some basic tap techniques and a soft-shoe
tap routine. Tap and other percussive (make sound) methods were
traditionally par t of blues music and an integral par t of vintage jazz
and blues dance. You don’t need any tap experience or shoes! The
material is accessible to all levels, with additional challenging material for advanced dancers.

Back to our carefree and invincible playground days! Blues Aerials
can be created with any two or more bodies. Come explore and play
using basic concepts for leveraging and weight sharing in a fun
and safe environment. We’ll be working in par tnerships and small
