World-class professional productions range from classic musicals to contemporary drama. Hockaday Museum of Art The artistic legacy of Montana and Glacier National Park come to life at the Hockaday. Originally a Carnegie Library, this handsome turn-of-the century building is now home to a permanent collection of Montana artists, rotating exhibits of nationally renowned and emerging artists, and adult and children’s classes. The Off the Wall Gallery offers unique, Montana-inspired gifts. The Hockaday also hosts Northwest Montana’s largest and longest-running art fair, Arts in the Park, now in its 44th year. This three-day juried show at Depot Park draws more than 100 artists, along with wonderful food and live entertainment. Museum at Central School Built in 1894 as Kalispell’s first school, today this fully-restored four-story brick and stone landmark tells the story of early Kalispell from its founding in1887. The museum has an authentic 1900s-era sawmill and tools as well as Native American artifacts. www.discoverkalispell.com • 1-888-888-2308 17 MOUNTAIN MADNESS AIRSHOW, JULY Conrad Mansion On the National Register of Historic Places, the Conrad Mansion is one of the most outstanding examples of Victoria-era elegance and period architecture in the Pacific Northwest.
