Medpace 2014 Visitor Guide Sister City The Tyler Davidson fountain, titled “Genius of Water” and located on Fountain Square in downtown Cincinnati, is the centerpiece of the city and exactly 4532 miles from Munich. Designed and fabricated in Munich, it arrived in 1871 as a gift to the city from Cincinnatian Henry Probasco. Munich is the sister city of Cincinnati, Ohio where Medpace is headquartered. As of 2002, Cincinnati has the third-largest German population in the country. Nearly destroyed during WWII, the monument now stands for peace. Inscribed on the back is “dem Sieg geweiht, vom Krieg zerstört, zum Frieden mahnend” which means, “dedicated to victory, destroyed by war, reminding of peace” in English.
