PORT FACILITIES
Tanjung Manis Integrated Port Sdn. Bhd. (TMP), a wholly
owned subsidiary of STIDC was appointed as an approved
port operator on 26th February, 2009 to operate, manage
and develop Tanjung Manis Port at Tg. Manis, Mukah Division,
Sarawak. It commenced operation on 1st July, 2009. From its
maiden call by M.V Selatan Makmur on 4th August, 2009
carrying 162 TEUs, TMP currently achieves more than 50%
annual growth to record more than 7,000 TEUs a month contributed by four main shipping lines.
With a steady stream of in-bound project cargoes for the ongoing development and construction of the various industries
at Tanjung Manis in tandem with the development of SCORE,
TMP is geared up to be the focal point and catalyst in
the transformation of the Tanjung Manis hinterland.
