In our culture, it’s very difficult to differentiate between these words, “like,” “enjoy,” and “love.” The word love, once reserved and confined to relationships, has extended its borders to include anything and everything. It has lost that distinction towards intimate feelings and effects. It was once communicated clearly and without confusion in its intent. We do not love our children the same way, or in the same manner as we love chocolate. The human interaction, the communication, the connectedness, the feelings and the care towards both are very different. The expression of love in an intimate relationship is also very different from all the above. Then there is another unique classification of expressing differences between “I love you, but I am not in love with you.” When God speaks about love, it has distinctive characteristics that are specific and not confusing to the reader. According to John 3:16, “God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” His love is expressed in the exchange of giving and receiving. His, is a sacrificial gift of giving all in exchange for the ability to be believed. His capacity to bond with each of us reflects the eternal and enduring value He places upon the relationship. The phrase “The love of God so rich and pure, so measureless and strong” from the beloved hymn The Love of God, illustrates that His love is prosperous, unadulterated and refined. It always incorporates the many dimensions to include height, width, breath, length and depth, all without restrictions, containment or limitations. In analyzing the well-known children’s song Jesus Loves Me, “Jesus loves me this I know for the Bible tells me so, little ones to Him belong they are weak, but He is strong,” demonstrates a love of getting-toknow you. It delivers a strong sense of belonging and the ability to rescue the vulnerable, frail, innocent or disenfranchised. It’s a protective love that covers faults and innocence, while being somewhat paternalistic in its ability to watch over, and care for those involved in the process of being loved. Songs of Solomon 8:6, “love is as strong as death.” His love, once welcomed by an open door, is overpowering. Once inside, it becomes irresistible; it moves without permission; and its effects are very captivating. What is the obvious evidence that you love the Lord, and you are in love with Him? Is it visible in your communication, your interactions, your confessions, or in the amount of time spent with Him? Is your heart connected to Him? What are your feelings towards Him, and do you feel secure in His love towards you? Do you love Him, and are you in love with Him? Think on these things! Deuteronomy 6:5 commands a love that reciprocates, and obeys, “Thou shall love the Lord with all thy soul, heart and strength.” His love demands the active pulling of the heartstrings towards Him. It includes surrender of the will, the mind, the memory, the imagination, all emotions and the giving of one’s ability. It is a love that requires honor, submission and results in a mutually beneficially soul-tie. According to worships at Truth Revealed International Ministries for 7 years. Initially, I was caught off guard but soon settled into the reality of what I had overlooked. As I rehearsed a conversation with her previous employer, I remembered it being said she was unreliable and far too often, nowhere to be found. I recalled thinking we should pass on hiring her, but her resume looked impressive and maybe she was just not a good fit for the previous job. As they say, hindsight is 20/20! I should have paid more attention to her trail. This got me thinking about snails. A snail always let you know where it has been. It leaves an unmistakable trail, and though you may be unable to tell if it was coming or going, you know that it was there. The life of a person is much like that trail of the snail. If you look at it closely, there should be indications that the person was here and what kind of person they were. If the person was kind and good, there should be evidence by way of those who will say such. If the person was one who caused discord or steeped in mess, there will be witnesses of that as well. Jesus left a trail that upholds His presence and what He did while He was here. The accounts and testimonies tell us that Jesus was the kind and gentle One who Father’s plan and intents for us, and that He was willing to do whatever was necessary to ensure that plan was fulfilled. Jesus was so committed to the success of God’s plan that He died for it and us! For more than two thousand years people have argued for and against the reality of Christ. Many have made logical assertions to dismiss His existence. But Jesus’ trail remains, and it is unmistakable and undeniable! Things were prophesied about Jesus before His birth and they came true. Jesus spoke of things that would happen, and they have come to past. He also made promises that have been fulfilled. He said He would leave and that He is returning, and He will! For more than two thousand years His Word remains true. He loves you! Just as there is no Christmas without Christ, there is no Easter without the death, burial AND resurrection of Christ! The world doesn’t want to acknowledge Christ, all the while it begs for something better. Better only comes in believing. Jesus Christ Himself declared in John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” Jesus left us a trail to make sure we find Him, and all you have to do is follow it. He’s waiting there to meet you! came to reconcile us back to the Father. MARCH 2016/ REVEALED 7 No Better Sacrifice W e all need to know and experience the presence, power, and love of God in our lives. We need to know that God deeply loves us and wants the very best for us. This is why He made provisions before the world began, and He would send His son, Jesus Christ, to die an innocent death to show us love at its best. God knows that we need a faith that identifies His existence in our lives. He made a way for us to personally know the saving knowledge of Jesus, and how we can become His very own children by accepting Him into our hearts. When we become His children, our existence is now eternal with Him. There’s no greater sacrifice in this world. We are able to transcend into deeper dimensions and levels of maturity in our faith, while using God as our anchor and master. He hides us when needed, and exposes us for His glory. Discipline is another attribute of His love and faithfulness. It is His way of perfecting all that concerns us, because He loves us with His whole heart, just as He desires that we love Him with ours. True love wants a person’s betterment to take place. It wants to see their goodness and their prosperity. Anything less is not God’s best. His love affords us the ability to love others the way He loves and cares for us. The love of God carries us through our day-to-day lives. The obstacles and disappointments we face just aren’t the same when we tap into God’s healing presence, and allow Him to lead and guide our days according to His perfect will. He never intended for us to live comfortless, as He is the Comforter, and a continuous present help in time of need, every day, for everyone. This knowledge is so amazing in itself! His infinite power and omnipresence is here with us. He knows what we are feeling and thinking. He knows our plans; He knows our faults. Yet, He is faithful, and steers us in the right direction so we may be pleasing in His sight. God provides a sustaining love. As we celebrate the reason for this season, let us remember our joy is not in Easter eggs or chocolate bunnies, but in the sacrificial love of God. When he sent Jesus in the form of man, to die an innocent death in place of our sins, he showed us love at its best. There is no greater love, no better sacrifice. has been a member of Truth Revealed International Ministries since 2001. She has been a single parent to 3 children for 13 years. Matthew writes in Chapter 16:24-26, "Then Jesus said to His disciples, "If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself and take up his cross, and follow Me." In this chapter and verse, Matthew is not framing those words of Jesus to imply that you need to or you are expected to experience the physical suffering, the mental anguish or the humiliating dishonor that our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ experienced on the cross at Calvary. surround you with people to give you the opportunity to show them the joy, the gladness, the genuineness and the powerful love of Jesus. God can use you in your position as a medical professional, healing the sick or injured; as a judge, deliberating justice to the innocent; as a social worker, extracting children from dysfunctional homes and even as a school teacher, molding the minds of the next generation, you are in the right place for God to shape you into the witness that He wants you to be. Once you are shaped as He wants, He releases you to connect with the people for the Kingdom by being a witness to them based on what you have experienced and how you have matured spiritually. The death of Jesus Christ on the cross raised a critical question. If He was the Son of God, the Messiah, what has (and will) happen to the Kingdom? This is the reason Matthew is framing those words so they will cause each Man of God to continue the mission of Jesus by bring people to the knowledge of the kingdom and to the Although you are ready and willing to begin this new knowledge of Jesus Christ. mission to lead people to Christ, you must be equipped and you must have some essential tools to carry with you. MARCH 2016 / REVEALED 9 C an you imagine loving others as Christ loves us? How about a wife being able to love her husband after he has been unfaithful? What about the loving husband who is faithfully committed to his wife who refuses to love him and withholds her affections from him? Can you imagine the parents of a rebellious child who refuses to accept discipline, even to the point of blatant disrespect and disregard for you as a parent? Many of us might have faced the challenges of trying to love someone whom seemed impossible to love. Whether it was an unruly child, an abuser, an unfaithful friend, etc, how do we even begin to love in these frustrating and trying situations? I believe we must be filled with the Spirit of God. Without God’s help, strength, peace, guidance, and even His divine intervention, we are not equipped with that kind of love. It takes the love of God to forgive when we have been devastated by a loved one or someone we trusted, or gave our heart. It takes the wisdom of God to understand (1) our battle is not against flesh and blood (Ephesians 6:12), and (2) how to effectively deal with our emotions. It takes the wisdom of God to avoid the temptations that would lure us away from holiness, faithfulness, loving God, loving our neighbors and especially loving our enemies. We have read how God’s people were forgiven and restored. This allowed us to see the power, the joy, the peace, and the wonderful love of God. Trying to love and understand apart from God, is frustrating, discouraging, overwhelming and impossible. Love at its best is filled with the Spirit of God and clothed with the power of God. When we are filled with the Spirit of God, we have the courage to serve, to help, to care, and to love. Love at its best is a love filled with the Spirit of God, whether we are asking for forgiveness or walking it. has been a member of Truth Revealed International Ministries for over 12 years. Jesus' life saved not only a financial process known as reBar-Abbas' life but provided a randemption. som for many (Mt 20:28). Redemption means "to deliver" or "to purchase with a price"; "to redeem" or "to buy back"; to liberate; "to release for a ransom or price.” Other meanings of the word include, "to loosen; to unbind; and to set at liberty". Redemption in the Christian faith is the intervention of God for the salvation of mankind. One Good Friday morning, a prisoner named Bar-Abbas sat in the Fort Antonia jail on death row awaiting execution for his murderous insurrection against the Roman Empire. Meanwhile, a short distance away, an angry mob had gathered in the town square before Pontius Pilate debating the fate of our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ. Bar-Abbas could only hear a portion of the conversation occurring in the square with Pilate. He heard his name being yelled…Bar-Abbas! and then he heard something that must have shook his countenance…Crucify The scripture says that when we were seated on death row (Rom 3:23-24), when we were imprisoned awaiting punishment for our sins (Eph 2:1); when we did not deserve any mercy (Rom 5:8); when we had no hope in this world (Eph 2:12); we were bought, purchased, ransomed, delivered, loosed, saved, set free, redeemed by the precious blood of Jesus (1 Pet 1:1824). Jesus exchanged his life for my life; for your life; for every 'whosoever will' life (Joh 3:16) throughout all ages! Jesus purchased us from the pawn shop of sin. For in Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace (Eph 1:7). hope not seeing the day or the event; not receiving the promise yet to come. Yet, we that remain hold on to an everlasting hope (as others have) not only for future eternal glory but for each day. We hope for restoration of families, loved ones, wayward sons and daughters. We hope for those that remain separated and lost having no hope and without God in this world. Easter is a time to reignite our hope against hope as we remember the high cost of our freedom from the bondage of sin and the redemptive price Jesus paid in exchange for our ransom from the consequence of our sin. …but now, because of the love of God poured out in Christ Jesus we who were separated from God are brought back into relationship with God by the death of Christ. On account of Christ's substitutionary sacrifice and His finished work on the cross, we are no longer strangers toward God; we are now children of the living God. (Eph 2:19) and like Bar-Abbas, our debt is paid in full and we are free to walk in the newness of life. Jesus is our Awesome Redeemer! Easter is a time for everyone that has this hope of restoration in themselves (Acts 24:15) to remember the redemption we have in Jesus Christ. Many have died in and his wife (Delores) have been members of the Truth Revealed International Ministries family for over 5 years. I f you have ever lain restless in bed at nights, tormented by the what-ifs, could-haves, should-haves, perhaps jobless and burdened by a stack of unpaid bills, or feeling the sting of loneliness, and wondering about the future, you understand how long and torturous those nights can be. Even as Christians, we sometimes find it difficult to believe that we have a sovereign and omnipotent Father who cares about every detail of our life – and He is merciful! But when morning comes, we pick up ourselves and carry on with the business of living – often oblivious to the One who woke us up and assured us that weeping endures for a night, but joy comes in the morning. There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends (John 15:13). There is no greater proof of love than to give your life for another person. Webster states that love is expressed as an action and experienced as a feeling. Yet, love has an essence that resists definition in any single way: it encompasses companion, determination, endurance, support, faith, and much more. More often than not, when we think of love, we think of good feelings. Mental health counselors teach us to love and appreciate ourselves, as much, if not more than others; to engage the things that makes us happy. Looking back on some of the darkest nights in my own life carried me back to the darkest night in human history. Christ once had a far worse night than we could ever imagine! And He did it all for love! This was a night inconceivable but predestined for the journey to Calvary. It was a night that established and affirmed love on a level no human could totally comprehend or demonstrate. 12 REVEALED / MARCH 2016 Have you ever thought of the Judas openly betrayed Him, and dark, unforgettable night when events of the night that led to He was arrested. It was a night Jesus freely took on our sins so what was the darkest night of of painful suffering, isolation, that we may have life, and have Christ’s life? That is the Question!) he interesting thing about texting is that one can say a great deal with just a few letters. IDK= I don’t know; LOL = laugh out loud, TTYL= Talk to You Later, OMG =Oh My God, IMU= I Miss You, LNT=lost in translation, GBU=God Bless You, etc.= etcetera ( joking!). People are growing more accustomed to abbreviating statement and thoughts. Texting is quick and convenient and at times it can be very effective. Texting is catchy and it is subtly slipping into our spoken language. Many would much rather text than talk and this texting generation is changing the way we communicate. In Marriage Enrichment we coined a text we are using as we gain “Victory Through Spiritual Warfare.” ICU! Your first inclination is to think about the Intensive Care Unit at the hospital. It was ours as well and when you really think about it, isn’t that what marriages need? (concentrated, serious, exhaustive, rigorous, specialized) (serious attention, protection, maintenance, repair, upkeep)? If we were proactive and administered to our marriage we would see fewer casualties. The other and equally important meaning for the MEM text, ICU, is I See You~ through the eyes of Christ. I (me) ~ C (Christ) ~ U (my spouse) Putting Christ in the middle of my marriage causes me to see my spouse from a totally different perspective. When I see my spouse through the lenses of Christ, I see more and less. More of the things I fell in love with and less of those things that frustrate me. More success and less failure; more hope and less hurt; more grace and 14 REVEALED / MARCH 2016 mercy and less unforgiveness. Seeing my spouse through the eyes of Christ helps me to see him the way Christ sees me. ICU is a willful act and one in which I must consciously communicate when I face challenges in my marriage. Negative and junk behaviors are not my spouse rather they are just that, behaviors. My spouse is fearfully and wonderfully made. He is created in the image of God who has blessed our marriage. Because I want success in my marriage, I choose to see the good in my spouse and pray for strength and peace to navigate the challenges. I am constantly looking for the person I fell in love with and Christ vision helps me to see the man I married ~even in the midst of the storm! Verbal discourse and intimate interaction should never be replaced by jargon and abbreviated affections. Again choice is the driving force in winning the war spiritually. I choose to take the time to talk to my spouse and I will tell him what I see when I look at him. I will choose to find positive and affirming words to encourage him, to build him up and to text is nice but it can never take the edify him. An place of my looking into my husband’s eyes and telling him “I Love You!” As always, in our hearts and in our prayers, Michele L. We’re quite comfortable with the status quo because change is challenging, agitating and often inconvenient when a much desired plan has been thwarted or derailed by events beyond our control. However, as we move from the natural side of man and begin to understand more about the spiritual side, we start to understand that there is a beckoning, a longing, and a desire for change that reside deep within. The Holy Spirit of God is longing for an opportunity to work in our lives to bring about a wonderful change. His objective is to transform our thought-life, our outlook and our attitudes as we ingest & meditate on the Word of God. And if we’ll allow Him to, we’ll stop stumbling over those areas in our lives that always set us back and we’ll learn to fully embrace the things of God and ultimately become a reflection of Christ so that we may impact the world for Jesus (reform). As Christian Singles, God wants us to understand that our greatest satisfaction and fulfillment is not met in our pursuit of what we’ve perceived as our happiness (a mate, more money, dream vacations, etc). Our greatest fulfillment and satisfaction comes in our pursuit of change as we move in God’s direction to know Him more intimately. God wants one-on-one time with us during our season of singleness. This type of relationship requires changes changes in our thinking and a redirecting of our affections. God wants to help bring change to those tendencies and maladies that drives us and ultimately renders us hurt and confused. Our pursuit of happiness has led many down dark paths of spiritual isolation, loneliness and depression. But our Father’s objective with change is to comfort, establish and settle us so that we are wiser, fruitful and assets to our local church, our communities, and (if it’s our desire) our future spouses. We spend far too much time putting our lives on hold in pursuit of our own happiness and before we realize it, months and years have gone by and our lives aren’t spiritually fortified. IT’S TIME TO PURSUE CHANGE! Listen… there are relationships in our lives that need to be terminated – PERIOD! No tampering, no trying to fix or bandage it up; those relationships have been life to our sensuality but death to our spiritual progress. All negative attitudes and all pessimistic emotions must be eradicated, and we must embrace the change that is present – Learning to love the Lord with a single focus and heart-felt passion. We must abandon the tunnel vision of this natural man and with a sense of urgency, we must embrace the fact that God wants to open our perspective to a vast array of opportunity that’s near. During this season of singleness, God wants us to begin to explore all that He has planted in us - jewels, gifts, talents and other abilities that would have never been discovered had it not been for our Pursuit of Change. meets every 3rd Monday @ 7pm In the fellowship Hall Childcare is provided is a member of Truth Revealed International Ministries and is A.S.P.I.R.E. Well, I’m believing God will do great things throughout the year, I know that prayer will help it to manifest. Mark 11:22-23 NKJV As we were getting our hearts and minds ready for Prayer School, our Wednesday night Bible Study teaching was dedicated to activating prayer within each of us to achieve the results we’re seeking from our Lord & Savior. God has downloaded the following prayer objectives into Bishop Clark and he began to share them with the congregation. They are as follows: Reproducing Healthy Leaders Growing the Body Healthy & Strong Praying for the Nations Making Room in our Organization for New Ideas Saving & Discipling Souls Build, Develop & Grow a Genuine Authentic Faith... The time has come for us to put our faith in God. Why can we put our faith in just about everything around us and not give God the same courtesy? The devil doesn’t want us to believe that we can have whatsoever we say according to the Will of God. He wants us to sit by quietly and not pray for what we want. It really doesn’t matter how hard Bishop Clark preaches his heart out to us, when we don’t take that Word and apply it to our everyday lives; this results in the enemy winning, and we can’t allow that to take place. There is such a demonic spirit flowing between us and the Word of God that the devil is moving with urgency to block the Word from getting to our ears, our inner ears, moving towards our hearts and finally settling within our lives. As a result, dissension starts to develop within the church walls and Christians begin fighting amongst each other. We need to see that the enemy wants us believing that God won’t answer our prayers or turn our situations around. If we would just trust and have faith...Jesus will work it out for us from sun up to sun down. We must continue to build, develop and grow a genuine authentic faith. Our faith must be healthy, we have to believe in it, totally trust and rely on it, for this is what is considered healthy faith. Genuine Authentic Faith is definite, specific and free of doubt; as faith is specific in what we are praying for, so will the answer be definite. Next, we need to partner our faith with prayer. Faith is the force and prayer is the practice that gets it done. Why is it so hard to put our faith in God? Faith and Prayer select the subject to be prayed for thus, determining what action God will take and/or do for God can do anything but “FAIL!” 18 REVEALED / MARCH 2016 F Thursday, February 18th – 7pm Minister Felicia Fluellen Friday, February 19th – 7pm Bishop Merton Clark “ARE YOU WILLING TO LAUNCH OUT?” “MULTIPLY OUR EFFORTS” MARK 10:46:52 It takes a willingness to launch out and there can be no fear when doing so. We must be enthused, ready to embark on something new, putting it in motion, taking the initiative. It’s time to launch out, but are all willing to do so. MARK 11:22:23 Isaiah 1:19 Minister Felicia told the church about Blind Bartimaeus, son of Timaeus. Although he himself was considered a beggar that sat on the side of the highway, he was the son of someone who was ‘honored and highly praised.’ So just because a person or situation may appear to look one way or another, don’t ever dismiss it...because GOD IS ABLE to change that persons’ circumstance. Let’s take a look at some character traits regarding Blind Bartimaeus – he was blind, beggar, but he had faith; desperate, persistent, determined and he made a specific prayer request. He was willing obedient and eventually changed his posture. Just remember that anytime we decide to launch out there must be change and we can’t show or display any fear. When Bartimaeus recognized that it was Jesus coming his way, well his faith started to rise up within him (Romans 10:17), remember he couldn’t see Jesus, but he ‘heard’ His Voice. Bishop Clark stated to partner of faith with our prayer and that’s just what Bartimaeus did; he took his prayer and made his request. He took his faith...a begging, blind man, who was desperate, persistent, determined for his need to be met and was specific regarding his prayer request. We’re discussing a blind man who had to have enough faith in God in order to rise when Jesus called him forth, going in faith knowing that God was going to heal him and restore his sight. He was going to make that move, change his posture no matter what. Knowing who God is, it’s time to get serious about getting into His Word and His Presence. It may call for us to step out of our comfort zone and do something that we don’t want to do. If we want something difference and things haven’t change, try inquiring in the Lord...remember He loves us, for through Him and His Spirit we have His Power. Bishop Clark gave the congregation the following instructions… as we gathered in groups of 3-5 and began praying out to the Lord, decreeing the following 2016 Prayer Objectives. Key Points # 1: Reproducing Healthy Leaders ▪ Leaders are made not born. ▪ Strong Leaders must develop systems that helps others to develop and grow. ▪ Many times the leader is not in the group already formed. No one has greater love than this, to lay down one's life for one's friends No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God lives in us, and his love is perfected in us. For as in one body we have many members, and not all the members have the same function. Like obedient children, do not be conformed to the desires that you formerly had in ignorance. Instead, as he who called you is holy, be holy yourselves in all your conduct. I am your servant; give me understanding, so that I may know your decrees. MARCH 2016 / REVEALED 25 The approval ratings of presidential candidates aren’t the only numbers that are all over the place (at least up to now). For a couple of years, major medical organizations’ recommendations for healthy blood pressure (BP) have ranged from 130/80 for most people, to as high as 150/90 for folks age 60 and older. And that’s been confusing for doctors and people like you who want to get it right. But now, a new National Institutes of Health study has a clear frontrunner: To slash your risk for a heart attack or stroke lower is better. In the study of 9,300 people, those who reduced the top number (that’s your systolic pressure) in their bloodpressure reading to 120 or lower cut their risk for heart attack or stroke by a whopping 33 percent and slashed their risk for blood pressure-related death by 25 percent compared to folks whose top BP number hovered around 140. The results were so impressive that the government stopped the study early to get the word out -- and you could probably hear us cheering the news. 1. Get a reading. Everyone should know their numbers. If you haven’t had your blood pressure checked in the past six months, make sure your doc does so at your next visit. If your numbers have been high in the past, it’s worth making an appointment to find out how they’re doing now. 2. Don’t settle for a so-so number. Most docs have been following BP guidelines that are too high! Talk with your doc about this new study and whether aiming for a lower BP is right for you. 3. Eat pressure-lowering foods. A diet of low-fat or fat-free dairy (or a calcium-rich dairy alternative) plus plenty of fruits and veggies loaded with potassium helps support healthier BP. It’ll also help you lose weight, which can quickly reduce HBP by reducing the amount of fat inside your kidney capsule. 4. Do a salt check. About 0.3 percent (less than 1 percent) of folks with HBP are salt-sensitive and should follow a low-sodium diet (see the DASH Diet on sharecare.com). If you have HBP, try a low-sodium plan for one to three weeks. If your BP falls by 20/7 or more, you need to keep on eating this way. If not, ask your doc if sticking with a moderate-sodium plan (about 2,300mg daily) is OK. Based on research, we’ve been advocates for a healthy BP goal of 115/76 (76 is your diastolic pressure) for more than a decade. High blood pressure (HBP) means that blood is pounding and racing through your arteries like an out-of-control river, nicking and gouging artery walls. That means that none of us can make it to heaven on our own. Our best efforts, our best righteousness is absolutely worthless in God's eyesight. Even one sin will keep us from heaven. Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His Mercy He saved us (Titus 3:5). In His mercy, God made a way for us to be transformed into the image of His son. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died on a cross to pay the penalty for our sins, and then He rose from the dead so that we could be free. You must repent (turn from your sins) and trust in Him alone to save you. Only Jesus holds our ticket to heaven, which are you holding… a 'Ticket to heaven? or, a ticket to hell?' Because God is holy, He must punish all who sin and His place of punishment is hell for all eternity. If you have ever sinned or done even one of these things, you are currently holding a 'ticket to hell'…but God..., who is rich in mercy, has made a way for you to be forgiven. In Christ, we are offered a 'ticket to heaven'. Which are you holding.....a 'Ticket to Heaven'? or, a 'Ticket to Hell'? CHOOSE alvation is a gift that is made available to those who repent., believe and confess Jesus is Lord and that He died and rose from the dead to save mankind. (Acts 16:31, Romans 10:9-10). This gift cannot be earned though good deeds or by simply being “a good person” (Ephesians 2:8, 1 Timothy 1:9). It is a matter of faith (acting out on what you believe according to God's Word concerning salvation). Five Steps to Complete Salvation: The following steps will help you obtain and maintain the salvation experience. It involves a process that will not only guarantee you entrance into heaven, but also position you to experience the benefits of heaven on earth. 1. Recognize/Admit That You Are a Sinner, 2. Repent of Your Sins, 3. Confess Jesus as Lord and Savior, 4. Be Baptized in Water, 5. Obey the Word of God. As you say these words, if you elieve them with you heart, you will be born again. (Romans 10:9-10) Heavenly Father, I recognize and admit that I am a sinner. I turn away from my sins, confess with my mouth and believe in my heart that Jesus is Lord, that He lived, died and was raised from the dead for my salvation. I believe I receive my salvation and all of its benefits right now. Lord, thank You for saving me this day. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen!"
