visual arts community gallery tours st. mane theatre literary arts creativity public art swingsation vibrancy Our Future Lanesboro Arts Campus Capital Campaign Lanesboro Arts Center launched a $1.1 million capital campaign for the LANESBORO ARTS CAMPUS in fall 2012; in the upcoming year, LAC will continue building momentum for this new vision for the arts. The LANESBORO ARTS CAMPUS is the interconnection and development of individual arts venues sharing three common goals: 1) Provide audiences with an inspiring and rewarding cultural experience; 2) Expand opportunities for artists to create, display, and market their work; 3) Promote the economic vibrancy of Lanesboro and surrounding communities. The capital campaign will allow us to expand programming, reach further into the community, and build a sustainable future for the arts in Lanesboro. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting vision! Lanesboro Live at the St. Mane Theatre In 2013, Over the Back Fence all-star host Damon Prestemon will launch a new show series at the St. Mane Theatre called Lanesboro Live. The house band will be the CBB Jazz Combo, and each month Damon will welcome to the stage topnotch authors, comedians, and musicians. Damon, himself a fantastic musician, will also incorporate multi-media effects, his poignant and funny monologues, and keyboard jams. The show will run on six Sunday nights throughout 2013: April 7, May 26, June 16, Aug. 4, Sept. 1, and Dec. 8. Join us for comedy, conversation, and cool jams!
