We have portraits of George Washington, Abe Lincoln and a painting of Rev. Walker Skating, all of which have been perennial favorites in past collections. We offer pieces to decorate the kitchen and dining room, including a stunning collection of great American farm landscapes. Some of the images include covered bridges and rural landscapes that are iconic imagery of a rural lifestyle. The frames in our collection are chosen to compliment the art and present a feel as if they were being sold in an antique shop. All pieces are mounted on a hard backing and enhanced with glazing that creates a texture that looks like a canvas. All of our Americana Collection is printed, manufactured and assembled in our Vermont factory and is ready to hang and put the finishing touches on any well-designed room. Ma T he new McGaw Graphics Americana Collection features works portraying a time when our country was young and void of the complexities of the 21st century. These framed products represent a simple lifestyle, based around our early American heritage and landscape. Her early love of artistic expression resulted in a career spanning over 25 years as a graphic artist in the wallpaper and textile business. Cheryl now expresses her imagination and creativity from her “Folk Art Spirit” studio where she creates works inspired by her fascination with telling stories through painting. Utilizing mixtures of vibrant colors, Cheryl creates detailed scenes of simpler times from her imagination and memories of actual places that are warm and inviting. Her preferred medium is acrylic on canvas or wood, and watercolor on paper. Her works are found in private collections and businesses worldwide. 11202FR 17x19 Tulips and Hearts Sampler k 11206FR 17x19 ABC Sampler 11203FR 17x23 Amish Quilt Village 6 D McGaw Graphics Americana 11205FR 17x21 Red Apple Barn k 11204FR 17x21 American Sunshine Country Farm k 11609FR 17x21 Mama’s Country House k 11610FR 17x21 Country Fox Hunt k k k 888.426.2429 d 7 Diane Ulmer Pedersen Diane Ulmer Pedersen is an American Folk Artist. Before entering grade school, Diane took art lessons at the Philadelphia Art Museum. It is here that she discovered her passion for art that would lead her to receive a B.F.A. from Denison University. Her interest in art and history led her to work at an antique and decorating shop, where she began painting naïve portraits of children. As she researched source material for these portraits, she discovered other folk art subjects that piqued her interest: landscapes, still lifes, theorem paintings, stenciling and faux graining, and needlework. She soon became fascinated with the stylizations, colors, textures, and the crackled and aged finishes. The feeling of peace, light-heartedness, and friendly openness she found in these works resonated with her. Incorporating subjects, forms, and techniques from 18th and 19th century folk art, Diane gradually developed a personal style to apply to not only portraits, but landscapes and still lifes as well. 10943FR 16x19 Winter Sheep I 15112FR 16x28 Town Houses I p 115113FR 16x28 Town Houses II p k Her primary medium is acrylic painting on a variety of substrates. Her paintings focus on the lives of everyday people in waterfront locations in the Northeastern United States. Whether she is depicting a bustling street scene or a quiet bayside, Munro is always striving for realism as she carefully fashions each canvas to tell a story of American life. In her 35 years of painting, Janet’s works have been included in many notable private and museum collections. 15080FR 16x20 Cape Cod Quilters 11079FR 22x28 White Farm r 15081FR 20x16 Winter in Nantucket 11080FR 22x28 Hart Hunt 10 D McGaw Graphics Americana k k 15082FR 20x16 Twilight Cape Cod k r 888.426.2429 d 11 Diane Ulmer Pedersen 10949FR 19.25x15.25 Girl with Bird k 10950FR 19.25x15.25 Boy with Horse k 15083FR 21.5x15.5 Temptation I (Cat) k 15084FR 21.5x15.5 Temptation II (Dog) k Edward Hicks 10966FR 18.25x15.25 Boy with Dog 12 D McGaw Graphics Americana k 10967FR 18.25x15.25 Girl with Cat k 11547FR 15.25x19.25 Peaceable Kingdom k 888.426.2429 d 13 Erastus Salisbury Field 11216FR 29.25x25.25 Mr. Pearce 18th Century r Charles Nahl 11224FR 29.25x20.25 Boy with Dog 14 D McGaw Graphics Americana 11217FR 29.25x25.25 Mrs. Pearce r Robert peckham p 10928FR 29.25x20.25 Rosa Heywood 15086FR 25.25x31.25 Smart Turn Out Gilbert Stuart p 15087FR 28.25x18.25 Skater t Sir Henry Raeburn P 15088FR 27.25x23.25 Reverend Walker Skating r 888.426.2429 d 15 Emanuel Gottlieb Leutze 11223FR 28x40.75 Washington Crossing the Delaware Gilbert Stuart George Henry Story v Thomas Sully 11007FR 25x35 The Passage of the Delaware, 1819 U 11009FR 31x27 George Washington u 11008FR 31x27 Abraham Lincoln u Rembrandt Peale 10937FR 31x27 Thomas Jefferson u 888.426.2429 d 17 Jean Leon Gerome Ferris 11218FR 27.25x21.25 Writing of the Declaration of Independence p Congress Vintage Reproduction 11207FR 27.5x23.5 Declaration of Independencer 11016FR 27.25x21.25 Gettysburg Address p John Trumbull Jean Leon Gerome Ferris 11219FR 15.25x21.25 Betsy Ross, 1777 k 11011FR 21.5x31.5 Declaration of Independence 18 D McGaw Graphics Americana r Albert Bierstadt Childe Hassam Albert Bierstadt was born in Solingen, Germany, and moved to New Bedford, Massachusetts when he was a young child. After studying art in Germany, Bierstadt began painting in New England and upstate New York. In 1859, he traveled westward in the company of a land surveyor for the U.S. government, returning with sketches that would result in numerous finished paintings. He continued to visit the American West throughout his career, inspired by the majestic landscapes he found there. He chose to use uncommonly large canvases for his grand sweeping landscapes, emphasizing the atmospheric elements such as light, fog, clouds and mist to add to the dramatic mood of his works. He often enhanced details to inspire awe: colors would be more intense, vegetation more lush and verdant. Bierstadt’s images have remained popular long after his death in 1902. He was a very prolific artist completing over 500 paintings over the course of his life. 11023FR 28.75x40 Sierra Nevada t 15089FR 25.25x35.25 Boston Common at Twilight, 1885–86 s Edmund Leighton 11445FR 34x49 The Buffalo Trail, c. 1867 11446FR 18x26.5 Yosemite 20 D McGaw Graphics Americana v r 11559FR 14.5x18.5 Signing the Register k 888.426.2429 d 21 Jim Daly Winslow Homer 11215FR 18.25x25 Odd Man Out (detail) p 11069FR 11.5x15.5 Boys in a Pasture, 1874 f 11071FR 10.5x13.5 The Blue Boat, 1892 f 11214FR 22.75x18.5 Saturday Night (detail)P Kathleen Green 11031FR 22.25x32 Checking the Pies t 888.426.2429 d 23 Diane Ulmer Pedersen 10958FR 15x18 Pig 10960FR 16x16 Rooster 24 D McGaw Graphics Americana k k 10954FR 15x18 Cow and Cat 10965FR 16x16 Hen k k 15091FR 14.5x17.5 Pig k 15092FR 14.5x17.5 Sheep k 15093FR 14.5x17.5 Horse k 15094FR 14.5x17.5 Cow k Kathleen Green 11558FR 16x13 Big Bad Billy Daphne B. k 11211FR 16x16 Rise and Shine I k 11212FR 16x16 Rise and Shine II k 11213FR 16x16 Morning Call I k 11560FR 16x16 Morning Call II k Roz 10973FR 25x25 Cow #302 26 D McGaw Graphics Americana r 11005FR 25x25 Cow #300 r 888.426.2429 d 27 Vintage Reproduction 11390FR 18.85x15.5 Country Life c. 1904 11392FR 18.85x15.5 Typical Cows c. 1904 M 11012FR 17x21.25 America’s Renowned Stallions I M 11013FR 17x21.25 America’s Renowned Stallions II M 11014FR 17x21.25 America’s Renowned Stallions III M 11015FR 17x21.25 America’s Renowned Stallions IV m m 11393FR 18.85x15.5 On the Farm c. 1904 m 888.426.2429 d 29 Currier & Ives Ray Hendershot Edward Hopper 11028FR 15.5x21.5 Clipper Ship “Three Brothers”, ca. 1875 k Winslow Homer 11072FR 11.25x14.75 Lighthouse & Buildings, Portland Head f Currier & Ives 11463FR 8.5x16.5 Gloucester, Mackerel Fleet 15095FR 14.25x12.875 Pemaquid f Nathaniel Currier f Fitz Hugh Lane 11455FR 11x13.5 Sovereign of the Seas 11029FR 21.5x27.75 Yacht “Puritan” of Boston 11077FR 11x15.5 Boston Harbor 30 D McGaw Graphics Americana f R f 888.426.2429 d 31 Carlos Casamayor 15114FR 16x16 Time Out 1 11024FR 22x16 The Old Lake k 11025FR 20x16 Sunset in the Pier k 15115FR 16x16 Time Out 10 11454FR 16x22 Lighthouse at Sunset 32 D McGaw Graphics Americana k k k Zhen-Huan Lu Cecile Baird 11608FR 15.25x19.25 Mantelpiece Orchid 11193FR 23.25x19.25 Chair with Jug m 11194FR 23.25x19.25 Watering Can David Doss 11557FR 22.5x27.25 Simple Backyard Pleasures 34 D McGaw Graphics Americana s m k Zhen-Huan Lu Zhen-Huan Lu is an American artist of Chinese descent. After receiving a degree from the Department of Stage Design, Shanghai Theatre Academy (famous for its western-style landscape painting training program), he was appointed to teach painting and stage design there. In 1986, he relocated to the United States after receiving an invitation to give his first solo exhibition in New York. Zhen-Huan Lu’s disciplined background in life study, western painting techniques and both western and eastern aesthetics, led to his development of a unique American style of poetic realism that aims to make visible the invisibles through his skillful portrayal of familiar scenes and objects. His training also led him to develop equal skill in watercolor, egg tempera, and oil painting. Although people are never depicted in his landscape paintings, Lu’s keen interest remains in human life and emotions. Whether it be rocking chairs on the porch on a lazy afternoon or a pair of oars against an aged beach house, the human spirit is always present. Through his masterful technique, Zhen-Huan Lu captures a world beyond the obvious with close-ups and exquisite details. 11378FR 23x33 Old Friend t 15110FR 23x36.625 Striped Hammock s Zhen-Huan Lu’s paintings have been exhibited in museums and galleries throughout the United States and China. 11090FR 27.25x21.25 Weathered Traveler 36 D McGaw Graphics Americana r 15111FR 28x40.625 Relaxation T 888.426.2429 d 37 Zhen-Huan Lu 11567FR 22x28 Fourth of July 11566FR 21.25x27.25 Quiet Time r 11089FR 21.25x27.25 Home Again S r 11568FR 24x36 Chair Family with Flags 11377FR 22x34 Chair Family t t 11092FR 28x40 Stone House U 888.426.2429 d 39 Peter Sculthorpe Peter Sculthorpe’s paintings capture the rural landscape and stone architecture of the Brandywine Valley in Chester County, Pennsylvania. Sculthorpe’s paintings are instantly recognizable for their beautiful stone barns, dusky skies and single figures on horseback. Using watercolor, he manipulates light and form that gives his paintings a dramatic, natural feeling. As inspiration, the artist explores a variety of other media including etching, monotype and stone lithography, and incorporates these elements into his work. Sculthorpe has been the recipient of numerous awards and honors, including the American Artist Professional League Award, Philadelphia Sketch Club silver medal and first prize in oil painting from the National Arts League, New York. His work is included in the public collections of the Springfield Art Museum in Missouri, the Delaware Art Museum, The Brandywine River Museum in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania, and the DuPont Company in Japan. 11087FR 21.5x36 Outside of Bally 12014FR 15.75x41.5 Hedgerow T 11084FR 20x24 A Pale Moon U 11006FR 16.5x24 On Kaufman’s Farm 40 D McGaw Graphics Americana p p 888.426.2429 d 41 Ray Hendershot The Pennsylvania countryside and its inhabitants provide the subject matter for watercolor artist Ray Hendershot. Ray is highly regarded for his detailed rural landscapes and antique still lifes, and how he captures the surface textures of the aging farm buildings, the rustic old mills or the antiqued crocks and jugs that he paints. Over the years, Ray has developed a number of texturing methods to accurately depict these signs of aging. Ray is represented by several galleries in southeastern Pennsylvania, and his work has appeared in many books and magazines. He is an elected signature member of the American Watercolor Society, The National Watercolor Society, The Pennsylvania Watercolor Society (also awarded Sylvan Grouse Guild member status of the society), The Philadelphia Watercolor Society (recipient of the Crest Award for continued excellence), and the International Society of Acrylic Painters. He has been the recipient of many awards for his work in national and international exhibitions and has had numerous one-man shows. 11460FR 26x20 Working Late r 11070FR 28x28 Breaking Light 11220FR 19x34.5 Kissin’ Bridge 11462FR 19x34.5 Farm on the Hill 11569FR 18x38 Evening Chores 42 D McGaw Graphics Americana s t t t 11221FR 19x34.5 Summer Portal t 888.426.2429 d 43 David Lorenz Winston Dawne Polis 11017FR 32x23.5 Solitude 11082FR 16x20 Golden Promises 44 D McGaw Graphics Americana 11570FR 20x20 Hayrollers m 10935FR 20x20 One Cow m 10934FR 20x20 Sheep Under a Harvest Moon m 10936FR 20x20 Tendre Charolais m s f 888.426.2429 d 45 Stephen Lyman Carl Brenders 11435FR 28x40 A Walk in the Woods 15127FR 20x16 An Autumn Gentleman u m Ron Parker 11081FR 23.25x37.25 Through the Firs T Daniel Smith Larry E.
