In 2013, more than 800,000 people walked through the front doors; including 60,000 lesson attendances at the Aquatic Centre Caters to hockey, lacrosse, curling, swimming and fitness and well being. 2006 “PASON” Centennial Arena Featuring a 1500 seat/200 person capacity multi use facility for hockey, figure skating, lacrosse, concerts and tradeshows with elevated walking/jogging track. Home of the Okotoks Junior A Oilers Hockey team. Today CARDELL HOMES is a major sponsor of the Okotoks Oilers. An estimated 400,000 people attended the facility during the past year, including an average of 800/day for Oilers Hockey games and up to 400 per day utilizing the walking/jogging track. Caters to hockey, lacrosse and walk/jogging 2007 “SEAMAN” Stadium Featuring a 1600 seat/3000 person capacity stadium, a flagship facility in the Western Baseball League and home of the Okotoks Dawgs baseball team. In 2013, 54,007 fans attended the 23 home games for an average of 2,348/game. The Field House will be run by the Foothills-Okotoks Recreation Society, with day to day management handled by Nustadia Recreation Inc. The High Country Sports Facility Fund Raising Society has been challenged by the partners to raise $1million towards the acquisition of furnishing and fixtures. To date $225,000 has been raised by the Society including Okotoks Minor Soccer Association $150,000, Soccer-thon and Bottle Drive $41,000, Okotoks Rotary Club $24,000, and Okotoks Raiders Lacrosse $10,000. 3 Sustainability and Furnishings The High Country Sports Facility Fund Raising Society (HCSFFS) was established as the voice of the “User Groups”. It is chaired by John Barlow and marketing executive Dick Milburn and is tasked with raising monies for acquiring the furnishings and providing for the sustainability of the Field House over the long term. On February 1st 2014, Foothills-Okotoks Recreation Society, Nustadia Recreation Inc. and HCSFFS entered into an agreement whereby HCSFFS would act as the lead in soliciting fundraising, donation, sponsorship and advertising for the Field House. All fundraising, donations, sponsorship and advertising dollars facilitated by HCSFFS prior to December 31st 2014 for the first contract year will be directed to offset the furnishing expense of the Field House. The remainder of the dollars received for subsequent contract years will be put towards recapitalization and facility operating costs. Naming Rights, Fees & Term Advertising design, production, and possible installation costs which will be a supplementary charge to the “Naming Rights” fee, will be determined after addressing the “partner’s” vision of how they wish their name to be imaged based on the component acquired. 4 The Field House ($500,000 over 5 years) A unique “five year” branding opportunity will be given to one corporate partner offering exclusive branding and directional signage inside and outside the complex, and on a major road where 11,000 vehicles/day commute between Okotoks and High River. Exclusive recognition of partner’s name and logo will appear in all printed materials produced and distributed by the facility operator, including, but not limited to the following: signage, staff uniforms, all print, advertisements and event promotional materials. -audience includes families of all ages projected at 229,000 in the first year. -road signage will be viewed by an estimated 23,000 vehicle pass byes/day. -minimum term of contract will be 5 years with option to renew. 4 Opportunities for Field Names (each field $75,000 over 5 years) Four opportunities exist for Community and Corporate partners to have their name emblazoned on the wall of each of the four indoor fields to be viewed by families, fans and players on a daily basis. In addition the daily activity “schedule board” located in the lobby will promote the partner’s (field) name. -each field is estimated to draw viewership and player participation comprising of 57,250 family members of all ages in the first year. The target age of players is 4-18 years, and 30-75 for adults. -minimum term of contract will be 5 years with option to renew. YOUR LOGO FIELD 5 Running Track ($50,000 over 5 years) This component will be much used not only as a jogging/walking track for the general public, but also as a warm up area for athletes before game time. Its design will lend towards in floor signage strategically placed around the track. -estimated viewing of (4 signs) by 165,000 athletes = 660,000 times, noting that in addition Pason Centennial Arena experiences an average person traffic (non athlete) of 400/ day. This would add 584,000 viewings of a single ad, noting that most people look at the floor when they run! Target audience age of athletes 6 to 18 years, and “health and wellness” seeking adults 45-75 years. -ideal opportunity for an advertiser who manufactures a brand name of sport shoe! -minimum term of contract will be 5 years with option to renew. 4 Opportunities for Meeting Room names (each room $7,500 over 3 years) YOUR LOGO HERE YOUR LOGO MEETING ROOM Most Recreational facilities never have sufficient meeting rooms. Whether it is a team get-together, sport group gathering, or general business meeting, occupancy of meeting rooms in Okotoks is always in high demand. -minimum term of contract will be 3 years with option to renew. -viewer target market is 60% adults/40% youth. -Ideal location for a “Club” to attach their name…Lions Club, Rotary Club, the Volleyball Room etc. The Lobby Play Area ($7,500 over 3 years) Probably the most highly desired naming right! Dad is upstairs watching Johnnie playing U8 Lacrosse, William as a five year old can have his own fun time in the Play Area. -target market is naturally kids and obviously parents who drop off and pick up their kids at the location! YOUR LOGO PLAY AREA 6 -ideal location to advertise for a “Fast Food” business that all kids regardless of the fact they may not be able to read, can associate with the company’s logo! -Okotoks has a significant demographic of kids that meet this requirement. -minimum term of contract will be 3 years, with option to renew. 28 Opportunities for Dressing Rooms (each Room $500 per year includes design, & production cost) YOUR LOGO DRESSING The most economical “Naming Right” on the menue. ROOM -a 3 x 3ft alupanel sign in full colour -will be viewed by 12-16 individual athletes and coaches every hour, on the hour. -ideal place to hang the “family (personal or business) flag” and say “I helped build the Field House, this is MY dressing room!” General Advertising Back-lit Score Board Signs ($7,500 over 5 years) Eight locations exist for advertising local businesses on one of the most constantly viewed pieces of equipment in the building. It’s your guess how many times during each hour of play that a family member or a player checks the Score Board! -target market youths and adults -4 x 4 ft back lit, plexi glass front. -Design & production cost $400 due in the first year of the contract only. 3 x 8ft Rink Board Ads ($1,300 for 1 year includes design & production, renewable at $1000/year thereafter) 40 locations will be made available for Community and Corporate partners to promote their local business in a unique and affordable way. They will be located in full view of players and fans, and viewable for an average of 60 minutes/game by each audience group. -Target audience should be considered as principally adult. YOUR LOGO 7 6 x 20ft Hanging Banners ($3,500 for 1 year includes YOUR LOGO design & production, renewable at $3000/year thereafter) 20 opportunities getting 5 times the visual compared to the Rink Board, for only 3 times the price! Banners will hang above the playing surface of the fields in line with the direct vision of the fans in the audience. -These will offer a similar target audience to Rink Boards. LED TV Advertising ($1,000/annum excludes production) Captivate the audience of Okotoks with a digital 10-second display advertisement on our high definition LCD display system. Recycle Container Advertising ($500/annum includes design & production) This is the most affordable item on the menu of signage advertising. Why? We want to keep the facility tidy, hence the need for many containers, and you can bet they will be in prominent locations. Tell your friends you sponsored a garbage can and see what their response is! DESIGN, PRODUCTION & INSTALLATION: The Advertiser authorizes Spy Design of Okotoks to design and produce advertising material in line with the advertiser’s wishes, and to oversee the installation as instructed by Nustadia Recreation Inc. 3. ADVERTISING MATERIAL APPROVAL: -The Advertiser retains the right to approve artwork before final production. -Nustadia Recreation Inc. retains the right to endorse the Advertiser’s message and overall advertising image, before final production. 4. TERMINATION OF AGREEMENT: The Advertiser shall indemnify and save harmless the High Country Sports Facility Fund Raising Society, the Town of Okotoks, the M.D. of Foothills, and Nustadia Recreation Inc. against any and all claims for damages, liability, loss and expenses arising from or caused by: • An alleged libelous, obscene or offensive advertisement or notice. • Any alleged copyrighted matter in any advertisement or notice. • Any advertisement provided herein. • Any claim being made by any person against the High Country Sports Facility Fund Raising Society, Town of Okotoks, M.D of Foothills or Nustadia Recreation Inc. in connection with t he said advertising.
