Happy Independence Day!
While we enjoy parades, barbeques, fireworks, family, friends and
neighbors we are reminded how fortunate we are to live in the United
States of America. Let’s make sure coming generations also understand
that this day is about the strength and courage the founders of this great
nation showed when they declared themselves independent of Great
Britain—a choice that amounted to treason against the world superpower
of their time. The battles fought and lives lost for our liberty should
continue to be remembered and our founders revered.
The fast-paced life most Americans lead doesn’t allow much room for
taking a day in the slow lane and doing things the old fashioned way.
Make some great memories to treasure for years to come by giving the
youngsters in your life an old-fashioned Fourth of July!
Be sure to fly the flag. Start the day with Old Glory and teach the kids to
respect this symbol of their freedom with proper flag etiquette. Then go
enjoy that great sense of community that comes with a home town parade
complete with marching bands, floats, fire trucks, etc.
If there was ever a “best day” for homemade ice cream—this is it. No
child should grow up in this country without real ice cream on the 4th of
July at least once. It would be un-American! Add grilled burgers and hot
dogs with the family’s favorite side dishes and enjoy.
Swing by the fireworks stand and get some things to teach the kids about
the cool stuff that gunpowder can be used for—and how to do it safely of
course. Has a little boy ever been born who didn’t have a ball blowing
stuff up with Dad? Finish the day off with a big elaborate fireworks show.
It’s the perfect way to end a day filled with patriotism, family, fun, and
good food. A wonderful day
for everyone and a great
reminder of how very
fortunate we are that our
founders valued liberty over
all else.

Spring 2016
Dear Alliance Coach Family,
Hot, Hot, Hot is what it is in the Southeast. Hope you all are enjoying the summer fun
wherever you are. RV’s are on the move to summer vacation hotspots, family or just back
to your homes from the winter locations. Here in Wildwood we have not seen any break
from our winter busy time, Lake Park is coming into their season so it is hopping there.
Some of the great news we have to share is finally after five years we now have great free
Wi-Fi on the property. This has been something I’ve wanted for a long time. The first week
in July a new phone system is being installed in our Lake Park location. Wildwood will get
their new system by the second week of the month. With all the new technology it will help
for a better experience at both locations.
As soon as we add some more parts staff we will create a parts call center to expedite the
calls coming in during the busy season in Wildwood. We have expanded our inventory in
both locations to better serve you. We have added small A frame trailers and toy haulers to
our inventory in the last month in both locations. There is something for everyone, small
travel trailers to large diesel motorhomes.
We have partnered with Gator Harley Davidson in Leesburg. We are their exclusive RV
dealer for all their events. Also we partnered with the RV Accessibility Group along with one
dealer in the west to be the only two recommended to convert RV’s for people with
disabilities.
Do you know what the Move Up program is? If you already have an RV you are eligible.
Without saying anymore, call. Or when you’re in ask a salesman to explain. Now is the time
to Move Up.
Happy Trails,
Alan Shapiro
President

TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEMS (TPMS)
TECH TIP By: Ed Cowan,Technical Advisor
Master Certified RVIA/RVDA Service Technician, RVIA/RVDA Training Mentor, Onan Certified
I strongly believe in having a TPMS, as long as it has pressure and temperature readings. Prior to
having a TPMS on my coach, while we were getting ready for a trip, my wife always asked, “Did you
check the tires?” I would get my gauge, go around the coach and check all the tires; spending 45
minutes or more and usually kneeling in mud or it was raining. Since I got a TPMS, now I just turn it
on, wait 10 minutes and check my tires without getting my hands or clothes dirty—well worth every
penny to me!
Basics: there are several systems on the market. Here at Alliance Coach, after months of research,
we have chosen the Truck Systems Technology System. They provide a 2 year warranty, 24/7
support, and the system monitors pressure and temperature, everything you could ask for in a TPMS.
I use their flow through sensors on my coach (don’t have to remove them to change pressures) and
their standard sensors on my car. I know many of you are saying, “But my car came factory equipped
with TPMS, why do I need to spend the extra money?” Well, it’s kind of hard to see your car
dashboard from the driver’s seat of your motorhome. And most automobile monitoring systems only
show air pressure differences—not temperature (which is the early warning sign of a possible tire
issue). I personally love my TST system and to me it has been worth every penny of my investment.
Any time you invest in tire safety, you are making a great move.
So let’s get to the cost:
TST Flow Thru Kit with 6 Sensors $359.00
Additional Sensors (either style) $50.00
A Repeater (wired into your coach at the rear—required on any coach over 32’) $59.00
Installation and demo, including a repeater $125.00
Please Note: The tire monitoring system does not include any extenders or tire accessories, which
may be required to complete your installation.

TYRON FLAT TIRE PROTECTION
From RVs and big rigs to ambulances and fire trucks, Tyron has proven to help prevent a
blown steering tire from endangering your safety and damaging your vehicle. So how do
they work?
When a tire deflates, air pressure can no longer hold it in its correct place on the wheel. It
becomes free to move about and the tire's beads can slip into the "well" of the wheel
allowing the tire to flail. Steering, braking and traction control is lost and the flapping tire
can cause serious damage to the vehicle's brakes, suspension and bodywork.
Every wheel has to be made with a "well," otherwise is it impossible to mount a tire. Tyron is
simply attached over the wheel's well after the tire has been mounted and supports the
deflated tire, preventing it from slipping into the well, significantly increasing tire stability:
and therefore, steering, cornering and braking control.
Initially designed for military application, Tyrons are used internationally for military and
government vehicles, as well as emergency services such as police vehicles, ambulances
and fire trucks. You will find them on armored trucks, public transportation, commercial
trucks and they have become very popular with RV owners too. Ask your service advisor
about getting Tyrons installed to greatly reduce the risk of a serious accident due to rapid
tire deflation.

WILDWOOD NEWS
Our Wildwood Paint and Body Shop is a one-of-a-kind collision center that works with all major
insurance companies and is the preferred provider for both Progressive and Nationwide
Insurance in the eastern U.S. What sets us apart? One of the main things is our ability to
custom build the exact parts needed to achieve difficult repairs. Shown here are pictures of a
2004 Holiday Ramble Endeavor with significant frontend damage as well as having a
windshield “fit” issue that required customizing the RV to fit the glass. This is how the process
works.
Once the damaged part was removed from the front cap we were able to evaluate the situation
and determine what to do to prevent the coach being totaled by the insurance company. We
found a front cap at a salvage yard that was damaged and didn’t fit properly but our technicians
repaired and rebuilt it to fit.
The next phase was modifying the front cap to fit the windshield. In this case the driver side top
and passenger side bottom corners were the problem. We
made molds of the cap corners, then fabricated and installed
them. The glass was installed and fits perfectly. Then the RV
could be painted and the decals installed. Now this RV looks
as good as new!
Upcoming Events!
July 2 – July 8 Alliance Coach will be bringing RVs to Rock Crusher Canyon RV Park in Crystal River
July 10 – July 19 our team will bring a great selection of RVS to Kings Bay Plaza in Crystal River
Allison Jones does a number of things here at Alliance Coach. She is our Front Counter Receptionist on weekends and
during the week she is working behind the scenes, playing a really important role in our
sales department. She personally decorates each and every one of our units for display.
With an artistic eye for precise detail, she has a way of making the interiors look absolutely
beautiful and inviting! So the next time you are walking through our inventory and notice
how warm and welcoming the RVs look, let Allison know what a great job she does.
Allison also makes hand painted wooden signs. The designs range from sunsets to RVing
to sports teams. They are available in our parts department. If you don’t see what you want
she will be happy to do a custom design just for you—see our receptionist for details.

Coach who have been enjoying their 2015 Forest River
Georgetown Motorhome since January of this year. Al and Pat
are locals to the Lake Park area and we enjoy their company
every time they come to our dealership. They are busy RVers
who are very active in the SMART. Military veterans RV travel
club. You can learn more about SMART. in their club brochure
included in this newsletter. If you are active duty or retired and
are looking for a great RV club, they would be happy to talk
with you. You’ll find Al’s contact information on the brochure
included in this month’s issue or by visiting
www.smartrving.org.
Lake Park will abound with lots of activities to celebrate Independence Day! Starting the Friday before there
will be lots of vendors and family fun activities all over our little lake town including parades and fireworks
displays over Tom’s Pond & Twin Lakes and will continue on into Saturday.
DID YOU KNOW? LAKE PARK FACTS
Did you know that Lake Park is only a couple of hours from some of the
most beautiful beaches on the East coast? Jekyll Island, The Cumberland
Islands and Tybee Island are some of the most gorgeous sights you will ever
see. Definitely some of Georgia’s best-kept secrets!
Did you know that just 11 miles up the Interstate is one of the best colleges
in the nation? Valdosta State University is home to the Blazers and
encompasses about 13,000 students from all 50 states. Valdosta State was
founded in 1906 by a group of local legislators and concerned civic leaders who worked for the passage of
legislation to establish a college, which was named the South Georgia State Normal College. They have won
several national championships in baseball, football, softball & men’s’ tennis.

Spring 2016
SMART RV Club National HQ, Pensacola,
FL--. Started in 1982, SMART is a group of
retired military veterans and honorably
discharged veterans bound together with the
same common bond. They are the Special
Military Active Recreational Travel RV Club
(S*M*A*R*T).
Today, with years of honorable service behind them, their mission
is simple-“Seeing the country we defend”!
Our rallies are called Musters. Most last from 3 to 5 days and
usually include a tour of nearby attractions. Often there are special
projects the chapter may undertake, fun and games is always on tab,
meals are often catered, potluck or shared at a local establishment.
More important is the camaraderie shared throughout the muster.
Greeting old buddies and sharing fond memories, meeting new friends
who have similar experiences makes this group so special. Chapters
are often involved in community action projects helping their
communities, military installations and veterans groups.
SMART Headquarters provides nationwide coordination and
communication for the 48 chapters and 1300 members.
Communication is maintained throughout the year via a bi-monthly
magazine (The Traveler & SMART E News) and our Website
(smartrving.org). These publications offer a link to many chapter
websites, with current information regarding club activities, members
and planned musters.
SMART offers very reasonable Caravans across America.
Experienced members called Wagonmasters volunteer to lead
caravans to many exciting places throughout the United States and
Canada. SMART has the best prices in the RV travel industry.
Each year the club gathers in mass with Regional Musters in the
springtime and a National Muster in the fall. These musters bring the
chapters together for a special bonding and rekindling of old
friendships.
Information regarding SMART may be obtained by contacting our
National Headquarters at: SMART Inc. 600 University Office. Blvd.
Suite 1A, Pensacola, FL, 32504 Phone 800-354-7681, or visit the

SALTED CARAMEL-CHOCOLATE DUMP CAKE
Ingredients:
1 small (3.9 ounce) package instant chocolate
pudding
1 ½ cups cold milk
1 box Devils Food cake mix
1 ½ cups chopped caramels
Coarse sea salt for sprinkling
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Whipped cream, for serving (optional)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°. Lightly grease a 13 x 9 inch pan and set aside. In a large bowl, whisk
together chocolate pudding and milk for one minute to combine. Add cake mix ONLY and stir until
thoroughly combined.
Spread batter evenly into bottom of prepared pan (batter will be thick). Sprinkle with chopped
caramels. Sprinkle with sea salt to taste (about half a teaspoon).
Bake 30 -40 minutes or until edges pull away from sides and a toothpick inserted in the cake
portion comes out clean. Remove from oven and let cool.
Microwave chocolate chips on high for 2-3 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds, until chocolate is
fully melted. Use a spoon to drizzle over cooled cake. Serve with whipped cream if desired.
