FileSync Overview
 Automatically monitors, replicates and synchronizes files
and application environments. Use for disaster recovery,
migrations, upgrades, and backups. Supports all file types.

Automated multi-system file synchronization & software distribution.
- when selected files change (modified, added or deleted), FileSync
will automatically synchronize the files to a designated destination
Server. FileSync supports Expand and TCP/IP transports.
 Multi-site Business Continuity
- FileSync complements data replication software. Real-time
replication of databases to a Disaster Recovery or Business Continuity
site is not sufficient to ensure uninterrupted operations. For seamless,
reliable operations, the entire current application environment must be
replicated across your NonStop systems.

 System upgrades and migrations
- using TCP/IP, FileSync can replicate all files to the New Nonstop
Server configured with the same node name. ( No tapes )
 FileSync-Dedup
Streams only data that has changed within a file or database. It
significantly improves file synchronization performance and
bandwidth requirements.
 FileSync-Incremental
Improves processing time by analyzing and synchronizing only
files that have changed or are new since the last synchronization.

be used to LIST all files that are in sync, all files that
require synchronization and all files designated for
purging.
