HAVE A HAPPY
MOTHERS DAY
Mother………..
You filled my days with rainbow
lights,
Fairy-tales and sweet dream nights,
A kiss to wipe away my tears,
Gingerbread to ease my fears.
You gave the gift of life to me
And then in love, you set me free.
I thank you for your tender care,
For deep warm hugs and being there.
I hope that when you think of me
A part of you you’ll always see

ICAL MANAGER

Talofa and warm Pacific greetings to our wonderful
residents. I would like to start by wishing all the Ladies a
wonderful Mother’s Day for Sunday 8th May 2016 as we
honour and show appreciation to all mothers and those who
are mother figures in our lives.
Third Age Health (our GP service) have provided another GP to assist Dr
Hiruni Senanayake and her name is Dr Angelique (Angie) Erhorn who at
this stage will be visiting us on Thursday mornings from 05 May 2016.
Thank you to those who have completed their flu vaccination forms, we are
in the process of organising a day for this to be done with Third Age Health
and will let you all know when it has been confirmed.

Welcome to another Between Us, there's no sign of Jack Frost yet! We have been
very fortunate to have had a great run of Sunny days and warm autumn weather,
making our van outings very popular. April 21st residents enjoyed the sights in
Tauranga and had fish ’n chips from Bobbies on the Strand, and most recently the
sea air in Raglan revitalised the soul , thank you Arthur, our driver.
We now have activities six days a week Monday to Saturday, in addition to the
programme , weekly hospital van outings have been introduced , a Men's Club
and a variety of other activities continue to evolve with new entertainers and a
Café ”style” hosting buffet with continental breakfast.
MORNING AND AFTERNOON TEAS ARE ON THE HORIZON!!
Highlights from April: Teresa from Fig Leaf florist whom
specialises in simplistic fragranced flowers gave a wonderful
demonstration of floristry.
Enjoy the month of MAY
Blessings to you all
