Break These Walls
Break These Walls Break These Walls started in February of 2009 when a group of Physics students from Waterloo High School asked their teacher to start a band with them. Initially formed to play a school battle of the bands, the group quickly realized there was some great musical chemistry and could not just make this a one show deal. Although it was somewhat awkward at first and their were some worries about the boundaries between teacher and student that were being broken, hence the name Break These Walls, the band continued to churn out quality material very quickly and fairly easily. We started playing shows at Pop's in Sauget Il, a very popular local venue, where we quickly gained the attention of fans and promoters with our intense stage show and unique sound which blends angst ridden heavy screaming with very melodic singing all set over the backdrop of very distinctive epic riffs and rhythms, blazing guitar solos, and soft slow interludes. We try to write catchy songs, which while still being very heavy, get stuck in your head, with lyrics that you can actually understand and remember. We are in the process of recording our first 6 Song EP to be released in May 2010 and are planning s summer tour with Make Me Break Me!
