Many of the rooms overlook or open out into the pool and atrium area. Others have balconies overlooking the lake. The hotel is conveniently located near the junction of I-90, Mass Turnpike, and I-84 coming from NY through Connecticut. Saturday and Sunday are of general interest to people with cochlear implants and their families, and a great place to meet others. Child care and children's programs keep the kids entertained with fun activities and excursions, letting adults attend talks or just mingle. There will also be groups for teens and a special program for young adults. You do not need to be a CI recipient to attend. Everyone is welcome: those with CIs as well as individuals who use hearing aids, parents of children who use hearing aids, and people who don't use any kind of hearing devices, deaf and hearing alike. We are an organization of implant users, family, friends, and professionals who have an interest in cochlear implants. The Minuteman Implant Club, Inc. (MIC) is a non-profit organization under IRS 501(c)(3). Thus, contributions to MIC are taxdeductible. We meet five times a year to share experiences, listen to guest speakers, and support one another. Our meetings can include presentations, club news, and a social time. We meet at the Boston Children’s Hospital, Waltham, which has free parking. We have a mid-winter social that is familyfocused with activities for children.
