The Sturbridge Host Hotel is a family friendly
resort, with miniature golf, paddle boat rentals, its own beach right outside on the lake,
as well as a indoor heated pool and Jacuzzi. Many of the rooms overlook or open out
into the pool and atrium area. Others have
balconies overlooking the lake.
The hotel is conveniently located near the
junction of I-90, Mass Turnpike, and I-84
coming from NY through Connecticut. Nearby attractions
include Old Sturbridge Village – a re-creation of a late 1700s and early
1800s New England town.
The Northeast Cochlear Implant
Convention is ...
A unique coming-together of
cochlear implant users, their
parents, grandparents, spouses,

Northeast Cochlear Implant
Convention
Friday-Sunday July 17-19, 2015
Sturbridge Host Hotel and
Conference Center
Sturbridge, MA
Friday's sessions are geared towards
professionals, particularly those who
work with children with cochlear implants. Saturday and Sunday are of
general interest to people with cochlear
implants and their families, and a great
place to meet others.
Child care and children's programs
keep the kids entertained with fun activities and excursions, letting adults
attend talks or just mingle. There will
also be groups for teens and a special
program for young adults.
You do not need to be a CI recipient to
attend. Everyone is welcome: those
with CIs as well as individuals who use
hearing aids, parents of children who
use hearing aids, and people who don't
use any kind of hearing devices, deaf
and hearing alike.

The Minuteman Implant Club (MIC) was founded in
1989. We are an organization of implant users,
family, friends, and professionals who have an interest in cochlear implants. The Minuteman Implant
Club, Inc. (MIC) is a non-profit organization under
IRS 501(c)(3). Thus, contributions to MIC are taxdeductible.
We meet five times a year to share experiences,
listen to guest speakers, and support one another.
Our meetings can include presentations, club
news, and a social time. We meet at the Boston
Children’s Hospital, Waltham, which has free parking. We have a mid-winter social that is familyfocused with activities for children.
