DESIGN
Franke’s line of kitchen faucets perfectly captures all the elements of today’s
design choices – traditional, contemporary and transitional. With everything
from top flight European models with a sleek minimalist line, to sumptuous
classic models that are the centerpiece to any kitchen, the addition of a Franke
faucet can reinvigorate an existing kitchen or make a statement all its own in a
fresh design.
Created by artisans, Franke faucets are perfected to ideal proportions and
functionality. Our faucets are available in up to four finishes to complement your
décor, with companion point-of-use faucets and soap dispensers to complete
the ensemble.
MANUFACTURING
Outstanding design and quality components come together beautifully during
the Franke manufacturing process. Our facilities use state-of-the-art processes
and equipment while following strict environmental protection guidelines as part
of our corporate philosophy regarding sustainability and the environment. Strict
adherence to Franke manufacturing standards in forming, finishing and final
assembly achieve the exceptional quality and durability that makes a Franke
faucet one of the most desired additions to a kitchen.
FINISHING
After machining, most faucet parts will undergo a final finishing process
comprised of one or more of the following:
Plating – Precise coatings of electroplated metals are applied through
specialized chemical baths that contain specific additives to improve the
performance and durability of the finish and control the exact color of the parts.
Coating – Some parts require additional coatings after plating, or as an
alternative to plating, for the desired appearance, color or performance
characteristics of the parts. Epoxy powder coating allows for complex
colors and living finishes like Franke’s Old World Bronze; it also is much
thicker, more evenly distributed and more durable than conventional
liquid coatings. Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) coating uses highly
specialized equipment to deposit thin films of vaporized materials onto
the faucet parts for an almost indestructible, corrosion and abrasion
resistant finish.
Polishing & Buffing – Most external Franke faucet components receive
polishing or buffing to achieve the final finish. Depending on the selected finish
and the complexity of the parts, a combination of manual and automated
polishing processes is employed to attain the final Franke finish.
FORMING
Every Franke faucet is made up of many individual components, with the main
components being the body, spout, and spray head. All components are
constructed of low lead brass, or in limited instances of stainless steel, providing
improved endurance, durability and superior resistance to corrosion over plastics
and zinc alloys that many of our competitors use.
FINAL ASSEMBLY
After all individual components are fully assembled into the finished
Franke faucet, final clean up and testing is done. All Franke faucets are
water and pressure tested after assembly to ensure 100% quality
is achieved. Before packaging, all faucets undergo an additional final
inspection to ensure each faucet meets Franke’s exacting standards.
Initial shaping of the components is done through one or more of
the following processes: a permanent mold casting process, a hot forging
process, or a Computer Numerical Control (CNC) milling process. The
manufacturing process is selected based on the requirements for each
component. After initial shaping, the faucet components are precisely machined
and ground into the final required size and dimensions.
COMPLETE SUITES
The faucet you select for your main kitchen sink is only part of the
picture. You may also wish to consider a bar faucet, and a hot or cold
filtered water dispenser for added convenience. Franke offers complete
suites of faucets, so regardless of which combination you choose the look
is cohesive in both styling and finish.

WARRANTIES
Franke Kindred Canada Limited extends the following warranties to the original purchaser of its faucets, and hot and cold dispenser systems and
tanks after January 1, 2003. All other products will be covered under the prior warranty. Warranties apply only to the original owner, providing the
product has been installed in accordance with our installation instructions, and used as recommended in a normal residential application. In the
event of a warranty claim, the owner will be required to provide proof of purchase. For more details, please reference www.frankecanada.com.
Faucets
All faucets installed in a private residence will carry a limited lifetime warranty on all mechanical parts to be free of manufacturing defects in
material and workmanship under normal usage. All chrome finishes carry a limited lifetime warranty; all other finishes are warranted for five
(5) years from the original date of purchase.
Water Dispenser Systems
Franke Kindred Canada Limited warrants Franke water dispenser systems to be free of manufacturing defects for a period of five (5) years from
the date of purchase.
Franke Hot Water
