Series to Help Veterans Coming
to WATC TOO in September
There are a number of new series being added to WATC
TOO starting in September, such as Hiring America.
Hiring America is a weekly half hour series dedicated
to helping veterans find jobs. Host Gigi Stone Woods
talks with experts on how to find suitable employment
and help vets and their families ease their transition
to civilian life.
Lindsey Turner appeared on WATC’s Friends & Neighbors program to share
about the Golden Soldiers, a non-profit organization that helps people
with special needs, and returned to share on Atlanta Live. A family from
Wales, United Kingdom also had a small non-profit for special needs, saw
the program and contacted Lindsey. Lindsey visited them and now they
have joined forces to create the Eli Project, providing help to individuals
here in the US as well as in the UK. We are excited to hear this story and see
how WATC was a part of this connection.
WATC staff members and many of their spouses (pictured below) visited
the Atlanta Botanical Garden on Saturday, June 11 to check out “Chihuly in
the Garden.” This exhibit by internationally acclaimed artist Dale Chihuly
features 19 colorful pieces of glass art placed throughout the garden.
It was a very enjoyable (if a little unseasonably hot) time of fellowship
outside of the workplace.
Military Makeover is a weekly half hour
series dedicated to giving back to
returning veterans with a complete
home makeover. Hosted by R. Lee
Ermey (USMC ret.), well known as
America’s favorite gunnery sergeant,
the series features stories of returning vets and the
efforts of dedicated individuals as they improve the
living conditions of our vets.
In addition, America’s Heartland is a new educational
series to help teens discover farm life through
fascinating stories from America’s heartland. From
learning how to make maple syrup to riding with
teenage ranchers, this series explores various ways of
life.

WATC TOO has been only accessible to viewers in the
Atlanta market who watch over the air television,
but there is a new way. Go to WATC’s website at

WATC Recognizes
Long-Running Programs
As WATC celebrates twenty years of broadcasting, we
should recognize some of our programming partners
who have been a part of the WATC schedule continuously
for over fifteen years. Shepherd’s Chapel has been the
longest running underwriter. The ministry started on
the first day that WATC was on the air and has been on
ever since.
Walk of Faith and Praise joined the Saturday night
schedule in April 1997, joined by Jack Van Impe Presents
one month later and then by Skip Horton in June. Robbi
Warren came on WATC in January 1998 and Living In
Victory in August 1998.
In Search of the Lord’s Way joined the Sunday morning
schedule in 1999 and is still on today, as is Bishop James
Morton who started in 2001.
Available over the air in Atlanta on Channel 57.2
Call your cable or satellite provider and request they
add WATC TOO to their channel lineup.
We appreciate these special underwriters and all of the
ministries that support WATC . Thank you for partnering
with WATC and following the to spread the Gospel of
Jesus Christ throughout Atlanta and around the world.
Dear Partners,
As a regular viewer of WATC, we know you have seen those
announcements prior to the start of many of the programs airing on
the station that states that the following program “is made possible
by an underwriting grant.” Those ministries support WATC through
donations to air their program week after week. We are thankful that
so many ministries have partnered with WATC through the years.
We ask that during these summer months that you take a moment
to contact your favorite programs on WATC and let them know you
appreciate them airing and supporting the station. Without their
ongoing support, we would not only be able to broadcast here in
Atlanta, but we would not be accessible worldwide through our
online video stream available at www.watc.tv. Rather than sending a
love gift to WATC this summer, we encourage you to send a donation
to those ministries to enable them to continue on the air. Be an
encourager to these ministries who are part of the WATC family!
Our Atlanta Live Prayer Center is available all summer long for you to
contact with your prayer requests and praise reports. Prayer partners
are available weekdays from 7:00-8:30 a.m. and weeknights from
7:00-8:30 p.m.
Thank you for watching and supporting WATC with your prayers and
love gifts. You are a blessing to this ministry!
Have a blessed summer!
