It’s hard to believe this year marks the 8th year we’ve been
hosting the Just For Her Event in Kansas City. I want to
personally thank you for suppor ting this locally owned
event and suppor ting all the amazing vendors and
sponsors who are excited to share their products and services with you.
While the event continues to be one of Kansas City’s key shopping events of the summer, every year we
work to make the event bigger and better. Our goal is to create a weekend women of all ages can enjoy
and take some time out “just for her”. Let’s be honest, most of the time (moms especially), your time is
spent carpooling the kids to practices and the pool during the summer days. Hopefully you’ll be able to
take a few hours for yourself to buy a few cute additions for your closet, pick up a new nail polish and
meet a few new businesses you’ll want to suppor t.
This year’s event features The Marketplace, filled with handmade, vintage and ar tisan food goodies you
won’t want to miss. There’s nothing like shopping from the actual maker and suppor ting small
entrepreneurs. The Main Event boasts the hottest summer clothes,
accessories, beauty products and treatments and services ranging from hair cuts & styling
to skin treatments, chiropractic adjustments and more. Be sure to check out the main
stage Saturday and Sunday for seven incredible fashion shows, hosted by Kia Bondurant
Photography and local boutiques.
Every year we are honored to par tner with a non-profit. This year we let the city choose
our par tner and we were excited when Sunflower House was selected. Their mission is
to protect children in our community from physical and sexual abuse through education,
advocacy, forensic and medical services. We encourage you to suppor t this local gem by
buying raffle tickets at their booth. There are over 30 prizes to win, all donated by our
incredibly unselfish vendors and local Kansas City community.
Our show guide is packed with show specials, contest details, vendor features and ads suppor ting our sponsors. This event
would not be possible without them and we thank you for suppor ting them… so read up!
