If you work out at any of the fitness facilities within Navy Region Northwest, then you already have one. If not, you can create one online: www.navylifepnw.com. Click on MyFFR. Request an account. Second, you’ll need an account pin number. To get a temporary pin number, you must stop by one of our facilities so we can verify your status. We have convenient locations on base as well as Smokey Point, including the Fitness Center, ITT or FFSC. Third, access your account online and register for any class, program or trip. (Don’t forget to change your pin too!) It really is that easy. Recreation & Fitness JIM CREEK SEASONAL OPERATIONS Beginning Oct. 3, Jim Creek Recreation Area will reduce operations to the lower valley campground. Facilities open for use are: All RV campsites, Grouse Camp cabins, Cougar Camp cabins, Doe Camp cabins, Bear and Bobcat Dens, and Jim Creek Lodge. Building 4 will open from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturdays for Wii Fit games, pool, foosball and shuffleboard. The social center is available and can be reserved for groups through the Naval Station Everett’s ITT office. Facilities closed are: The MWR office, Cub Camp Cabins, Coho Camp cabin and tent sites. SWIM THE HAWAIIAN ISLANDS Oct. 1-Feb. 29. Swim will consist of three legs between the Hawaiian Islands. Hawaii to Maui - 30 miles, Maui to Molokai - 8 miles, Molokai to Oahu - 32 miles. Participants can swim 1, 2 or all legs as desired. Daily distances will be totaled and tracked on a board in the pool area. Participants can use goggles, fins, kickboards and pull buoys.
