Beginning Oct. 3, Jim Creek
Recreation Area will reduce
operations to the lower valley
campground. Facilities open
for use are: All RV campsites,
Grouse Camp cabins, Cougar Camp cabins, Doe Camp
cabins, Bear and Bobcat Dens,
and Jim Creek Lodge. Building
4 will open from 1 to 4 p.m. on
Saturdays for Wii Fit games,
pool, foosball and shuffleboard.
The social center is available
and can be reserved for groups
through the Naval Station Everett’s ITT office. Facilities closed
are: The MWR office, Cub Camp
Cabins, Coho Camp cabin and

SWIM THE HAWAIIAN ISLANDS
Oct. 1-Feb. 29. Swim will consist
of three legs between the Hawaiian Islands. Hawaii to Maui
- 30 miles, Maui to Molokai - 8
miles, Molokai to Oahu - 32
miles. Participants can swim
1, 2 or all legs as desired. Daily
distances will be totaled and
tracked on a board in the pool
area. Participants can use
goggles, fins, kickboards and
