Fall 2014 2012 SUMMER Kappa Psi Epsilon Eta ORLANDO GRAD Regent’sPHILANTHROPY Letter Movember Upcoming events July 2014 Next Orlando Grad Meeting July 2014 Southeast Province Leadership Retreat in Orlando, FL; July 18th – 20th Sept 2014 Fall Southeast Province Assembly Meeting will be hosted by Epsilon Eta in Bradenton, FL; September 5th – 7th Epsilon Eta has always been very active in the local community since its humble beginnings, and this year was no exception. Along with the help of students and faculty at LECOM and even future Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity, Inc. pledges/rushees, we were able to accomplish a great deal. Big Orlando Chapter shout out to Philanthropy Chair Stephanie HartGraduate and her committee for all the planning and hard work they have put in through the Summer Newsletter semester. Here is a summary of our charitable work this last fall. Winter Southeast Province Conclave What has OG Swag been up to? Participated in Epsilon Mu’s Industry Night during Rush Brother Melinda precepted Epsilon Mu’s Epsilon Pledge Class’s health screening at a local Target OG Grad Brothers held a one-one interview prep session to help collegiate Brothers prepare for the interview season Attended Epsilon Mu’s, Zeta Gamma’s and Zeta Delta’s Initiations Brother Deanna presented to collegiate Brothers on the importance of rotations Brother Mikel and Jeremiah gave a presentation to the graduating collegiate Brothers on transitioning into life as a practicing pharmacist Joined Epsilon Mu in the walk to support Multiple Sclerosis research Completed the grad ritual with Epsilon Mu in the Spring Attended the UF COP Awards Ceremony in support of Epsilon Mu Brothers Participated in the Kidney Walk in support of the National Kidney Foundation to fight against kidney disease Attended Zeta Delta’s Kappa Psi Southeast Province Olympics Socials: Harry’s Birthday Bash/Residency Celebration, Oblivion, City Walk Attended multiple Province Assembly Meetings: Southeast, Mid America, Gulf Coast, Atlantic. We wish you much success as you start this new chapter in your life as a graduate. We joined Epsilon Mu Brothers earlier this spring in a walk to support Multiple Sclerosis Research. Together we raised awareness of this important disease and over $300 for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Congratulations to Brother Timmy Do for receiving the $250 Orlando Grad Scholarship Award. Page | 3 ORLANDO GRAD| SUMMER 2014 Kidney Walk is the nation’s largest walk to fight against renal disease. Orlando Grad joined by Epsilon Mu walks to raise awareness and in support of the National Kidney Foundation. Chapter Olympics hosted by Zeta Delta The Zeta Delta Brothers hosted a Chapter Olympics this summer for the Southeast Province. Orlando Grad supported the new Brothers at their first big social event, participating in various games and even a watermelon contest! Congratulations to Team Pineapple for taking home the Kappa Kup!
