WHAT IS A JOURNEY?
A. It is an action plan.
B. It takes a big goal, like eating healthier, and breaks it down into tiny,
achievable steps.
C. Creates a personalized wellness experience, which helps ensure that
someone can achieve and maintain healthy behaviors for the long haul.

HOW DOES A JOURNEY WORK?
A. Each Journey starts with a few questions to personalize the
experience for you.
B. Each Journey has between two (2) and four (4) stages.
C. The number of steps you have to complete in a stage varies
depending on how many experience points the step is worth.
D. When you have earned enough experience points in a stage, you
will be offered a challenge step.
E. When you complete a challenge step, you may proceed to the next
stage in your Journey.
F. When you’ve completed all the stages, you’ve completed a
Journey.

YOU CAN COMPLETE AS MANY AS YOU LIKE, BUT YOU WILL
ONLY EARN POINTS FOR UP TO TWO (2) JOURNEYS – FOR A
TOTAL OF 500 POINTS.

2016 WELLNESS INCENTIVE/CREDIT
INCENTIVE REQUIREMENTS
A. Current Employees and New Employees hired
before July 1, 2015.
•

Complete TWO (2) Journeys by September 30, 2015.
Complete the Annual Health Compass between 8/1 – 9/30/2015.
B. New Employees hired July 1, 2015 and after.
•
No requirements because of the short timeframe remaining to
successfully comply with the 2016 Incentive Requirements.

INCENTIVE/CREDIT OPTIONS
A.
$20/month credit toward your premium contribution for medical
insurance coverage under the Regence and Group Health Traditional
Plans. Total Savings = $240 annually
B.
$40/month credit toward your premium contribution for medical insurance
coverage under the Regence and Group Health High Deductible/Health
Savings Account (HSA) Plan Options (available in 2016).
Total Savings = $480 annually

Higher contribution to HSA

Employee Coverage with Wellness = $1,250/yr (without Wellness = $500/yr)

Family Coverage with Wellness = $2,500/yr (without Wellness = $1,000/yr)
