This Saturday, June 9th, Children's Memorial Hospital is
moving out of Lincoln Park to their new location in
Streeterville.
Ol d T own A r t Fa i r
In order to most safely and efficiently transport the up to
200 critically ill or injured children to the new hospital, the
Children's Memorial Hospital Transition Team has
developed a logistics and traffic management plan in
Bike to Work for a Week! coordination
with
the
Chicago
Department
of
Transportation, Office of Emergency Management,
Saturday ,
June
9th- Chicago Police Department, Streets & Sanitation and
Friday , June 15th is the
Transportation Management Authority.

Bike Commuter Challenge.
The Challenge is a great
opportunity to ex plore a
healthy
and
green
commuting
alternativ e.
Activ e Trans prov ides teams
with ev ery thing they need :
bike maps and posters; and
are av ailable to giv e bike
safety seminars at y our
office. Teams compete for
the highest percentage of
bike commuters. Click here

Starting at 5am on Saturday, June 9, Fullerton from
Halsted east to Lake Shore Drive, and Orchard
Street from Lincoln north to Fullerton, will be
closed and parking restricted. Streets will reopen
between 10-18 hours later depending on the length
of time required for the ambulance staging.

9am. The 3 mile ride is a tour
through the 43rd Ward and Also This Weekend, We Have Not Just One, But
both starts and ends at the TWO Fantastic Neighborhood Festivals!

Celebrate the 63rd anniversary of the Old Town Art Fair
this weekend! 260 nationally acclaimed artists will present a
wide range of art mediums, including 2D- and 3D- mixed
media, drawing, painting, photography, printmaking,
ceramics, fiber, glass, jewelry, and works in metal, stone,
and wood.

Sunday, June 10 from 10am-6pm

Wells Street Art Festival
The 38th Annual Wells Street Art Festival is here! Come
walk the historic streets of Old Town and sample all the
music, art and food available. Over 250 artists will be
showing off their wares while an outdoor stage features
great live music all day long.
